Three day Uttarayini Kauthig celebrated at Rohini with full pomp and show. Was a grand success.
Renowned singer Kishan Mahipal stole the show by his mesmerising songs












On the concluding third day, yesterday, the Uttarakhand Mahotsav , a glittering event of the congregation of Uttarakhandies living in Delhi was a grand success with eminent Garhwali singer carrying millions of family following Kishan Mahipal of Mana village, near Badrinath , the last village of India kept thousands of audience dancing to his melodious voice and enchanting tunes till the last. He was truly the man of the match yesterday keeping everyone dancing with tremendous energy and enthusiasm till the end. There were youths, girls, women and even old aged enjoying to the hilt.
The Almora MP and union state minister of Transport and National Highways Ajay Tamta was the chief guest on the concluding day who distributed awards to the musicians, organisers, singers and those who outstandingly managed the massive event.
On second day the Swaraj Kokila of Garhwal Uttarakhand Kalpana chouhan and her son, renowned singer Rohit Chouhan were the singing star attraction who led to everyone dance to their melodious songs with enthralling music.
Several singers including musicians were felicitated with trophies by the minister Ajay Tamta and some of them were singers Govind Digari, Neeraj Chuphal, Kishan Mahipal, Chandra Prakash, Prakash Rawat, Maya Upadhyay, Darshan Pharswan, Navin Tolia, CMD Choudhary Enterprises
Harish Joshi, Mannu Joshi, Navneet Bhainsora, Swati Bhatt, Meena Bhandari, Ranjit Music Director and Khem Singh Bisht, MD Bisht Properties and activist etc.
The concluding being Sunday witnessed a jam packed crowd in thousands, especially women in their traditional attires. About 65 stalls of delicious food items of Uttarakhand, handicrafts, enchanting handloom products, sweaters, shawls,herbal medicine , millets , fruits, Juices and several other items were for sale which did Good business.
The famous Mumbai Kauthig team with its chief organizer Keshar Singh Bisht was also honoured with a trophy on this ocassion by the union state minister of Transport and National Highways Ajay Tamta including the organisers Anil Panu, Mr. Bhandari and Sanjay Aggrawal etc.
The three day event was tremendously successful with the Uttarakhand’s population living in Rohini, Outer Delhi, national capital and NCR thronging here in large numbers and enjoying the cultural extravaganza to the hilt.
This year such Uttarayini and Uttarakhand related events were organised at nearly hundred places with full pomp and show in various locations of Delhi and NCR.
