Tributes paid to former Tehri MLA Balbir Singh Negi in Delhi

A heartfelt tribute was paid to former Tehri MLA Balbir Singh Negi at a meeting held at the Press Club of Delhi today.

The meeting was chaired by Uttarakhand Congress Vice President Dhirendra Pratap, and was attended by prominent journalists Dev Singh Rawat, Suresh Nautiyal, Vyomesh Jugran, Shrikant Bhatia, Rajeshwar Painuli, Laxman Rawat, Vijay Sati, Atul Sachdeva, Raj Thakur, and Anil Pat were present.
All described the late Balveer Negi as a very combative, honest, and concerned leader.

Dhirendra Pratap said that he was one of the great disciples of late Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna. He said that if mischievous people had not tampered with his assembly constituency, he would have remained an MLA for life.
