Thousands of people protest at Srinagar to demand CBI probe in Ankita Bhandari case under the watchful eyes of High Court sr. Judge
The most sensitive Ankita Bhandari case is proving to be a warning signal for BJP which seems to be completely wiped out during the 2027 assembly elections.
Uttarakhand is boiling these days and the sparks of Ankita Bhandari case, especially after the startling disclosure of the names of VIP behind this brutal murder have reached at the pan India level with protest demonstrations and effigy burnings of the VIP taking place at every nook and corner of Uttarakhand.
On 14 th January the entire socio political organisations and parties minus BJP are organising a massive protest to gherao the chief ministers residence and in the national capital too , two protest demonstrations likely to take place on Ankita Bhandari issue to demand the CBI probe on the new development after the disclosure of the name of a VIP in Ankita Bhandari case at Jantar Mantar.
In Srinagar Garhwal today the Congress held a massive padyatra in the entire Gola Bajaar area and then a public meeting addressed by the Uttarakhand Congress chief Ganesh Godiyal.
There were a massive crowd of angered women, youth and senior citizens raising anti government slogans demanding CBI probe under the watch of a high Court judge.
The Uttarakhand Congress chief Godiyal addressed the massive rally and demanded the CBI probe under the watchful eyes of the High Court judge.
The people who turned out in large numbers were from all hue and cry and forgot their political and ideological affiliations to demand putting the VIP behind bar at all costs. After the public meeting the Uttarakhand Congress chief Godiyal tweeted :
Today, I led a large crowd in a massive march in Srinagar demanding justice for Uttarakhand’s daughter, Ankita Bhandari. After the march, I addressed the crowd gathered in Gola Bazaar.
We all demand complete justice for Ankita Bhandari, the daughter of Uttarakhand, and a CBI investigation headed by a sitting High Court judge. Narco tests should be conducted on all those suspected in this case.
Our struggle would continue till we get due justice said Ganesh Godiyal. He further said : I also want to ask the Prime Minister of the country from the revolutionary land of Srinagar whether he has given such freedom to the BJP leaders to play with the sisters of our state?
