UKD demands immediate pension and Rs. 50 lakhs as compensation for the victim whose both the hands were amputated



The journalist turned politician and vice president of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal Ashutosh Negi visited the Baurari hospital situated at Old Tehri road , Tehri Garhwal and met the victim of a heartwrenching tragedy namely Angrej Singh Bisht in the presence of the local villagers and enhanced his morale assuring that he and his party will do everything possible for him monetarily, medically and in all respects. He demanded from the health minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat to immediately arrange a hundred percent handicapped certificate for the victim including arranging of the pension. He also demanded from the chief minister a monetary compensation of Rs. Fifty lakhs. The elder brother culprit of Angrez Singh Bisht has been arrested and is behind bars. Ashutosh Negi said that his party will ensure that those responsible for amputating his both the hands including the doctor of AIIMS if found guilty will not be spared and dealt with strongly in accordance with the appropriate section of the law , the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita. The victim with both the amputated hands bandaged Angrez Singh Bisht lying on the bed said that after grievously injuring his both the hands his brother Purab Singh took him to Rishikesh AIIMS and paid rupees twelve thousand to get his both the hands amputated despite the fact that his right hand’s fingers were functioning though a bone had come out of the right hand. He said that he repeatedly cried and requested the doctor not to AMPUTATE his right hand but the doctor instead scolded him and said in anger that he will cut both his hands and did it finally. After his surgery he wasn’t provided water nor meals etc and kept him hungry despite my requested requests finally sending back home instead of allowing me to convalesce in the aiims for few days said traumatised Angrez Singh.
According to the UKD leader Negi , this clearly states that the family and the doctor were hand in glove and amputated his hands despite one hand functioning rightly.
It may be recalled that the elder brother of Angrez Singh, his wife and elder mother were living at Lasiyali village in Ghanshyali Tehri Garhwal. They want to grab the share of the land and other properties of Angrez Singh Bisht. He was called to the village from Mumbai where he was serving in a private job. When Angrez Singh Bisht came to his village a fight ensued between his elder brother Purab Singh and him with his wife and elder mother obviously on the side of Purab Singh. All three attacked him with knife,badly damaged his both the hands profusely bleeding with hands almost crushed. He was to Rishikesh AIIMS fearing that he may die. At AIIMS his both the hands were amputated and brought back home with Angrez Singh Bisht in acute pain. He went to Chamyala police station and explained his woes, after which an FIR was lodged and the culprits arrested withtge entire shocking episode going viral in social media.
