PATA event organised with much fanfare at Garhwal Bhawan



PATA was held with great pomp and show at Garhwal Bhawan, Panchkuiya Road, Delhi on December 13, 2025.
The event was a beautiful blend of many programs -in which there was a beauty contest “Band Pahadan-2025” based on Uttarakhandi beauty and wisdom.

In addition to this there was “Gati-Niyati” based on the future of Uttarakhandi films in which there was a program of discussion titled “Samvad Session” with the producers of Uttarakhandi films in which producers Sanjay Joshi, Sudhir Dhar, Manoj Chandola and Rakesh Gaur shared their views on the present and future of Uttarakhandi films..!
During the question a swer session Madan Mohan Sati , media cordinator to Uttarakhand CM in Delhi felt the need to make quality films and Sunil Negi, journalist the need to publicize about the new films before they go for exhibition in various theatres. Negi said that lack of media publicity keep the audience away from theatres thus not doing justice to the real cause of regional cinema.

Along with this, the award for lifelong dedication to Uttarakhandi theatre, art culture, dialect language “Abhinay Hastakshar-2025” was also presented in which Mahendra Latawal, Chandra Bisht and Padmaendra Rawat were honored for their lifelong dedication to Uttarakhandi theatre.

The “Pragya Arts Theatre Awards 2025” were also presented for outstanding performance in the field of Uttarakhand theatre, including to debutants Kuldeep Aswal and Mamta Karnataka in the field of acting.

Girdhari Rawat was honoured in the field of writing and Mr. Akhilesh Bhatt for direction..!

Along with this, the posters of the next presentation of “Pragya Arts Theatre Group” – the play “Jai Jiya Rani” were released, along with the calendar of Pragya Arts for the year 2026.

This time the calendar is based on “Jiya Gatha – From the soil of Uttarakhand”, along with this Pragya Arts’ “Quarterly Magazine” was also released, this magazine is dedicated to Uttarakhandi theatre and festivals..!

In the same program, the artists of “Pragya Arts Theatre Group” also gave a wonderful performance on the songs of Jodhaa Films’ upcoming film “Ghangtol”..!

The chief guest of this program was “Media Coordinator, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Madan Mohan Sati, and special guests were Sanjay Joshi and Sudhir Dhar ji, who were honored by the President of “Pragya Arts” “Mrs. Lakshmi Rawat ji” by presenting memento and shawl..!

At the end of the program, the artists of Pragya Arts Group gave a wonderful performance and made the evening even more intoxicating and grand..!
Sanjay Chauhan of “Pahadi Gharat” from Indirapuram, Ghaziabad and Dhanraj Negi and Aayushi Juyal of Pratap Vihar were honoured with “Shri Samman-2025” for their outstanding work in the social sector.

The event was attended by Delhi/NCR’s intellectuals, industrialists, journalists, social and cultural organizations, theatre and film artists, etc., who wholeheartedly praised the event and expressed hope that Pragya Arts will continue to organize such programs in the future as well, which will give a new direction to Uttarakhandi dialect, language/culture, theatre and cinema…!

At the end of the program, Mrs. Lakshmi Rawat, Founder President of Pragya Arts Theatre Group, expressed her gratitude to the Chief Guest, Special Guest and all the respected guests for participating in the program and assured that Pragya Arts will continue to work with the same dedication for Uttarakhand art, culture, theatre and cinema in the future also..!
