PAWAN MEHRA ON 6 TH DAY FAST UNTO DEATH AT CHOUKHUTIA WITH UKD YOUTH LEADER ON FOOT MARCH TO DEHRADUN FROM CHAUKHUTIA
Operation Health movement has entered the 29 th Day in Choukhutia.



THE OPERATION HEALTH movement started at Choukhutia to improve the health services in this area is gaining momentum with demands for improving the health services in entire Uttarakhand and at various government hospitals which have insufficient doctors, surgeons, medical equipments, machines and medicines etc.
There have been tremendous protest demonstrations in Choukhutia with thousands of people participating in it, raising anti government slogans and demanding improvement in health services in Uttarakhand where patients are dying due to the lack of treatment and non availability of doctors, this being a common grievance.
The state government which is on backfoot on this issue especially after the movement gained momentum has now started thinking on this issue but the leaders of the movement aren’t satisfied saying that they always betrayed the people being completely apathetic and negligent.
One of the leaders of this movement including the chief of the UKD youth wing Ashish Negi and several others are on the foot march from Chokhutia to Dehradun to present a memorandum to the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on the issue of the deteriorating health services in Uttarakhand.
Several movement activists are on the relay hunger strike as well as some on fast since the last six days.
According to the latest news the Operation Health movement has entered the 29 th Day in Choukhutia.
One of the hunger striker Pawan Mishra is in the sixth day fast unto death, from today Sandeep Kiraula also sat on fast unto death reveal the sources. In support of the movement, Khim Singh Kaida and Mahendra Singh Manral are on a relay fast, while Ramesh Dungriyal, Deepak Negi, Bache Singh and Kunwar Singh are on a relay dharna and Narendra Rawat is on a silent fast reveal the news source from ground zero
