Just have a look on a fresh in identifying of shootout in Dehradun district. According to a latest news a shootout broke out between police and criminals during a thorough check in the Laltappad area of ​​Doiwala. Police had received information about suspected criminals.

An attempt was made to stop them by placing a barrier at Laltappad, but they did not stop at the checking point and opened fire on the police.

In retaliatory fire, two criminals were shot in the legs, while one escaped into the forest.

The injured criminals were referred from Doiwala CHC and admitted to Jolly Grant Hospital.

On receiving information about the encounter, SSP Dehradun immediately reached the spot, inspected it and took information from the officials.

The two injured criminals—Sohail Khan (25 years old) and Shanu (23 years old)—are said to be the main accused in the firing in front of Doon Hospital.

A case of attempted murder has been registered against them in Kotwali Nagar.

Police recovered a scooter, two pistols, live and empty cartridges from the scene. Police are continuing their search for the absconding suspect. The criminals were seen repenting in their act after being shot at saying that they will not do it again. Kudos to Dehradun police.
