Four storey building in Sabzi Mandi collapsed with some persons allegedly buried under the rubble

A four storey building in Sabzi Mandi area of Delhi has collapsed like house of cards within seconds burying a, family and few persons causing damage to at least three adjoining buildings.

There is tremendous panic all around and about seven fire fighters, local police and rescue teams are engaged in retrieving those buried n grievously injured under the rubble.

Two persons could be saved by rescuing them from under the rubble. The various rescue teams, senior administration officials, including the fire fighting personnel are desperately busy along with the people of the locality.

According to the latest news a family, a rickshawala, a Halwai and few persons are belied to have been allegedly buried under the rubble of the four storeyed building that collapsed in Sabzi mandi locality with a huge bang like pack of cards collapsing within seconds, not giving the residents of the building any chance to run for safety. The exact cause of the building collapse has not been ascertained till yet as the priority now is to rescue the persons under the rubble. The adjoining buildings have also been damaged to some extent say the latest news.
