Despite Dr. Harak Singh Rawat’s serious charges against BJP asking for ED probe , there is no response from BJP’s top leadership

Two days have elapsed since the former cabinet minister of forests in Uttarakhand now with Congress Dr. Harak Singh Rawat had made startling revelations putting the BJP in the dock over the alleged charges of corruption but till now there have been no reaction from any top leader of the party including the state government.
It may be recalled that two days ago the outspoken former cabinet minister Dr. Harak Singh Rawat had accused the BJP for collecting Rs. Thirty crores from the mining mafias and depositing it in the banks in the shape of fix deposit in order to run the party’s organisational affairs.
Speaking to media Dr. Harak Singh Rawat said that this fact can’t be denied as he himself had collected Rs. Ten lakhs from the mining owners of Rishikesh and Haridwar and deposited with them ( BJP) asked by the party leaders to do so.
He said that if the ED is allowed to investigate this matter all the BJP leaders would be behind bars further adding that he himself is ready to be probed as he too was party to collecting funds from mining mafia at the behest of the BJP. Dr. Harak Singh Rawat demanded that the BJP should donate that fund to the Dharali and Tharali victims and release a detailed list of all the donors to the BJP.
Responding to the serious charges of the Congress leader Dr. Rawat – the BJP leader of Uttarakhand Sharad Joshi said that if anyone believed that their is the matter of financial irregularities or corruption he should have approach the legal authorities or court for action rather than going to the media.
He said that this is nothing but an exercise to revitalize his popularity in politics by approaching the media and levelling baseless charges. He said that there are legal and judicial mechanism and rather using them for getting justice he is preferring to go to media for gaining political mileage said the BJP leader.
