Yuva Morcha leader Himanshu Chamoli arrested , police takes a suo motto cognizance of the video
The BJP Yuva Morcha leader in Dehradun Himanshu Chamoli has been arrested by Dehradun police taking the suo motto cognizance of the video released by the 32 year old deceased Jitendra Singh Negi resident of Doiwala, Dehradun originally hailing from village Tulsari, Pauri Garhwal who had committed suicide after releasing the video accusing and blaming the Yuva Morcha leader for cheating him ( the deceased) of Rs. 35 lakhs after a land deal and also buying mobile phone worth Rs two lakhs. Another video is going viral in social media in which a man who was repeatedly thrashed by Himanshu Chamoli asking from him an Iphone worth Rs. Two lakhs. He threatened him with dire consequences and thrashed him with his gang injuring on the thigh. The social media is full of posts showing the fraudster and extortionist Yuva Morcha Himanshu Chamoli with all the top leaders of BJP including CM and the national BJP chief. The police is interrogating him and cases under stringent sections of the BNS have been regustered against him including abetment to suicide etc. He allegedly used to show him as an influential leader close to the higher ups with police stations under him asper the statement given by the victim in social media.
Meanwhile, Himanshu Chamoli has been terminated from the general secretaryship of state Yuva Morcha after taking cognizance of the video going viral in in social media. 
The former chief minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat has said that people like Himanshu Chamoli extortionist and brokers in political parties are a blot to the party and society and the ruling party should take serious cognizance of such undesirables.
