Satish Golcha, IPS (1992 batch), has been appointed as the Delhi Police Commissioner. The additional charge previously held by SBK Singh has been withdrawn. Satish Golcha is currently serving as the Director General of Tihar Jail.
SBK Singh served as the Delhi Police Commissioner for only 20 days, marking the shortest tenure in the history of the position. Prior to this, Balaji Srivastava held the role for 28 days. SBK Singh assumed the additional charge on July 31, 2025, following the retirement of Sanjay Arora.
