The BJP lawmaker from Lansdowne constituency who is also the Mahant, the head priest of the popular, reputed and prestigious temple Sidhbali at Kotdwar had today been extremely vociferous in criticizing the senior officers and top bureaucrats of of Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited levelling several charges of corruption and apathy including negligence against them appearing in front of the media accusing his own government and these bureaucrats as corrupt ,negligent and apathetic saying that the CMD , top engineers , Executive, assistant and junior engineers in his areas have been deputed who are not at all working but proving to be a white elephant. While giving his reaction on the death of a lineman working on contract basis in Rikhnikhal block on a high altitude power line , a part of his constituency annoyed Dalip Singh Rawat MLA said that lot of negligence is being observed in UPCL. The MDs and Directors in UPCL have been appointed on temporary basis against alleged favours. The post was given to them allegedly against favours. In my constituency’s electric subdivision the SDOs and JEs have been deputed from outside areas and are inefficient and useless. No proper work is being done in my constituency with regard to power and electricity said the badly angered MLA of the ruling saffron party. I have told the MD of UPCL but then he didn’t pay any attention to what I said said the vociferous MLA of Lansdowne.
Meanwhile the Congress leader who was the OSD to the then Minister of Tourism , Uttarakhand TPS Rawat, retired Lt. General has in a brief post in face book asked whether he will stick to his charges or take back his accusations as he did earlier when after levelling several serious charges of corruption in Doon medical college and writing a letter to the chief minister he has taken back all charges in another letter after few days saying that it was his mistake. In a Facebook brief post Congress leader Raghubir Singh Bisht asked in Hindi Dalip Rawat , MLA ji, you will not give a statement against the UPCL officials and then turn back in their favour 25 days later.

Please note that on 5th June you wrote a letter to the Chief Minister about the irregularities in the construction work at Doon Medical College and then again on 27th June you wrote a letter saying that I had a misunderstanding and had received wrong information, all the work is going on well said Congress leader Raghubir Singh Bisht.
