Lt Colonel wife gives final adieu at Jaipur to her deceased husband killed in a chopper crash at Kedarnath on 15 June

The disastrous life taking fatal private heli services of Uttarakhand have finally compelled the ruling political dispensations in Delhi and Uttarakhand to think over this issue very seriously. In Uttarakhand in order to earn handsome profits unaccounted number of private heli services are being operated and due to the inclement weather conditions or technical snags the chopper crashes are occurring rapidly with maximum deaths. The entire social media is full of news with people’s extremely negative and condemnable comments questioning the credibility of the powers that be and the Director General of Civil Aviation for not taking any lesson from this repeated chopper crashes leading invaluable loss of lives of pilgrims and tourists heading for Kedarnath and other spiritual locations. There had been five private aviation companies’ chopper crashes with about fifteen persons dead and several injured in the recent past. The chopper crash heading for Kedarnath on 15 June that took seven lives included an invaluable life of the pilot of that chopper namely superannuated Leutienant Colonel Rajvir Singh whose wife herself Lt.Colonel Deepika Singh had given flames to her husband’s dead body in tears giving final adieu to this brave soul at Jaipur crematorium. Brave and emotionally surcharged, completely in tears in her uniform holding to chest the picture of her late husband Lt colonel’s wife walked all the way with the coffin to the Ghat hailing her husband’s sacrifice on the line of duty, exhibiting remarkable courage and brave face.
