अंकिता भंडारी के मामले में अंतिम फैसला 30 मई 2025 को सुनाया जाना है। मृतक बेटी का दुखी और सदमे में डूबा परिवार इस त्रासदी के पहले दिन से ही कड़ा संघर्ष कर रहा है। पूरा उत्तराखंड मासूम 19 वर्षीय अंकिता भंडारी के दोषियों को फांसी की सजा और वीआईपी को न्याय के कटघरे में लाने की मांग को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहा था। अंकिता भंडारी के माता-पिता पहले ही वीआईपी का नाम अधिकारियों को दे चुके हैं, लेकिन कथित अपराधी को पकड़ने के लिए कुछ भी नहीं किया गया है।
निर्दोष पीड़िता, मृतक अंकिता भंडारी जो कि राज्य मंत्री का दर्जा प्राप्त एक भाजपा नेता के यमकेश्वर ब्लॉक में वनंतरा रिसॉर्ट में काम करती थी, को भाजपा नेता पुलकित आर्य के बेटे और उसके दो साथियों ने उक्त वीआईपी को विशेष सेवा देने के लिए मजबूर किया और इनकार करने पर पहले उसके साथ कथित तौर पर मारपीट की गई और फिर उसे चिल्ला नहर में फेंक कर बेरहमी से मार डाला गया। यमकेश्वर विधायक रेनू बिष्ट ने रिसॉर्ट में जेसीबी ले जाकर उसे नष्ट करने की आड़ में सभी संबंधित साक्ष्य मिटा दिए। मामला एसआईटी को सौंप दिया गया लेकिन मृतक के परिवार और आशुतोष नेगी के नेतृत्व में विरोध प्रदर्शन करने वालों को उनकी जांच पर भरोसा नहीं है और वे सीबीआई जांच की मांग कर रहे हैं।
उत्तराखंड उच्च न्यायालय में इस मामले की निष्पक्ष सीबीआई जांच की मांग को लेकर एक याचिका दायर की गई थी ताकि प्रमुख जांच एजेंसी छिपे हुए वीआईपी को ढुँढ़वा सके , लेकिन अदालत ने एसआईटी की जांच पर संतोष जताते हुए इसे खारिज कर दिया।
पत्रकार और कार्यकर्ता, जो अब यूकेडी के केंद्रीय उपाध्यक्ष हैं, आशुतोष नेगी, जिन्हें पहले फर्जी आरोपों में जेल भेजा जा चुका है, ने मुफ्त में केस लड़ने वाले वरिष्ठ सुप्रीम कोर्ट के वकील कोलिन गोंजाल्विस के कहने पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट का दरवाजा खटखटाया, लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने भी सीबीआई को सिफारिश न करके उनकी याचिका खारिज कर दी। कोटद्वार के सेशन कोर्ट में चल रहे इस केस में करीब पचास गवाहों से जिरह हो चुकी है और पूरी कार्यवाही पूरी हो चुकी है। 30 तारीख को अंतिम सुनवाई है।
मृतक अंकिता भंडारी के पिता ने लंबी अनंत यात्रा पर जाने से पहले दोषियों को फांसी की सजा देने की मांग की है। उन्होंने कहा कि कथित वीआईपी का नाम बताने के बावजूद उसे पकड़ने के लिए कुछ नहीं किया गया है। उनका कहना है: न्याय में देरी न्याय से इनकार के समान है। उन्होंने खुले तौर पर और स्पष्ट रूप से कहा है कि सत्ताधारी राजनीतिक व्यवस्था इन हत्यारों को बचा रही है और अदालत ही उनकी आखिरी उम्मीद है, वह दोषियों को मौत की सजा की प्रार्थना करते हैं।
The final decision in the case of Ankita Bhandari is to be delivered on 30 th May, 2025. The anguished and traumatised family of the deceased daughter have been struggling hard from day one since the tragedy took place. Entire Uttarakhand was in the protest mode demanding death to the culprits of innocent 19 year old Ankita Bhandari and bringing the VIP to justice. The parents of Ankita Bhandari have already given the name of the VIP to the authorities but nothing seems to have been done to nab the culprit.
The innocent victim , the deceased Ankita Bhandari who was working in Vanantara resort, in Yamkeshwar Block owned by a BJP leader holding the state ministerial rank was forced by the son of the BJP leader Pulkit Arya and his two associates to give special service to the said VIP and in refusing to oblige him she was first allegedly assaulted and then brutally killed throwing her into Chilla Canal.
The Yamkeshwar MLA Renu Bisht took a JCB to the resort and under the guise of destroying it abolished / destroyed all the relevant evidences. The case was given to the SIT but the family of the deceased and those protesting led by Ashutosh NEGI have no faith in their investigation, demanding CBI inquiry. A petition was filed in Uttarakhand high Court demanding an impartial CBI probe into this case to enable the premier investigating agency find the hidden VIP but the court turned the CBI probe related appeal down expressing its satisfaction to the probe of the SIT.
Ashutosh NEGI, the journalist and activist, now the central vice president of the UKD having been jailed earlier in fabricated charges approached the Supreme Court at the behest of the senior apex court advocate fighting pro-bono cases Colin Gonsalves but the apex court too denied it by not recommending it to CBI. The case being run in the sessions court Kotdwar has completed its entire proceedings having cross examined nearly fifty witnesses. The final hearing is on the 30th.
The father of late Ankita Bhandari has demanded capital punishment to the culprits before he goes for his long eternal journey. He said that despite their giving the name of the alleged VIP nothing has been done to nail him. He says : Justice delayed is justice denied. He has openly and categorically said that the ruling political dispensation is saving these murderers and the court is his last hope praying for death to the culprits.
