Road being built by high profile leaders’ sons illegally to connect with their big hotel under construction in Yamkeshwar. Revenue officer writes to SDM
Despite resigning from the cabinet ministership of Uttarakhand looking after the finance and parliamentary affairs ministries after tremendous protests in entire Uttarakhand when Prem Chand Aggrawal gave an indecent statement using abusive language against the Uttarakhand’s citizens pronouncing them as Saale Pahadees in the state assembly his complications are not subsiding rather enhancing one after another.
According to the latest report the revenue Inspector of Patti Udaipur Talla , under the jurisdiction of Pauri Garhwal has send an investigative report to the Sub divisional magistrate of Pauri Garhwal complaining that at Village Maraal’s Khairkhal Tok, some people have already commenced building an illegal road connecting to their big hotel on government land.
The crux of this complaint and the illegal road being constructed is that the hotel being built is allegedly registered in the name of the sons of Prem Chand Aggrawal, Piyush Aggrawal and the the state BJP chief and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt namely Abishekh Bhatt.
He is the same Rajya Sabha MP and president BJP Mahendra Bhatt who had been allegedly protecting the erring minister for his outrageous remarks against Uttarakhandies.
In the recent past speaking to media Mahendra Bhatt had said that those protesting in Uttarakhand and Gairsain against the minister Prem Chandra Aggrawal asking for his resignation are directionless “andolankaries” calling them “Sadak Chaap” Neta.
The irresponsible statement of Mahendra Bhatt had further enraged the people of Uttarakhand inviting widespread criticism.
The Patwari’s investigative report is of the year 2024 but it is bound to create furore in the political, social and media circles of Uttarakhand especially now, because everyone’s eyes are on the newly under construction hotel project owned by controversial BJP leaders Premchand Aggrawal and Mahendra Bhatt’s sons who have also built an illegal road to the hotel obviously having also cutted lot of trees etc.
It may be recalled that several videos have appeared in social media regarding an under construction hotel at Yamkeshwar owned by none other than the sons of former minister Prem Chand Aggrawal and state BJP chief and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt.
There were lots of comments on this newly built hotel in the jungle area of Yamkeshwar especially by two important leaders of BJP who were trying to safeguard the interests of each other when the controversy of indecent remarks against Pahadees commenced .
According to the investigative report sent to the SDM Pauri Garhwal by the revenue officer, Patwari (as above in the letter) it has been unambiguously said that after the in-depth investigation it has been revealed that there have been clear cut violation of laws in the construction of road to the hotel under construction being owned by the sons of former minister Aggrawal and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt in which the mountain has been deeply cut and the road is being constructed on government land.
Conclusively lot of open violation of the laws have been committed to built this road to enable the hotel owners derive maximum benefit obviously to earn massive profit through the hotel and ofcourse through the road being built illegally on government land cutting a major portion of the mountain in open violation of the laws.
What is important in this case is that the matter which was till now under wraps have now become open and the revenue officer has sent a report to SDM. Will the authorities take serious legal action in this matter and bring the culprits to justice or will it again be the talk of the past under wraps in the days, months and years to come ? The moot question.
