Uttarakhand Lok MANCH celebrates a mesmerising Baithaki Holi celebrations at Garhwal Bhawan

The Uttarakhand Lok MANCH today celebrated the ” BAITHAKI HOLI” , at Garhwal Bhawan in which hundreds of participants from Delhi and NCR were present with good number of women members too.

Majority of the participants in this function were the members of Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha.

On 16 th March Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha’s elections are being held. In a way this was also an exercise to canvass support for the panel number 2 as the co – organiser Pawan Maithani is contesting for the post of General Secretary of Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha.

However, the Uttarakhand Lok MANCH celebrates the Holi Milan Samaroh every year.

In today’s Sitting Holi Milan ( Baithaki Holi) celebrations Dr. Suman Bhatt, Sarveshwar Bisht, Satyendra Farendia and several other eminent singers and musicians presented their mesmerising Holi songs compelling each and every audience to enjoy them to the hilt and also dancing to their melodious voice and tunes.

The organisers of Uttarakhand Lok MANCH were primarily Brijmohan Upreti and Pawan Maithani and their dedicated team.

Today’s chief guest and special guest of honour were the international Gold medalist shooter and personal coach of three back to back gold medal winner Manu Bakar, Jaspal Rana, senior advocate and Delhi High Court Bar Association, Sandeep Sharma, Uttarakhand Congress leader Prakash Joshi, Narendra Singh Ladwal, eminent entrepreneur and activist and Dr. Sharad Pandey MBBS MS , MCH Neurosurgery and Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery in Dr. RML Hospital and AB Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences.

The unique Holi Baithaki celebrations impressed one and all.

The participants were applied Holy colour with Teeka at entrance and presented a special pink colour patta as a mark of respect.

The participants are also served the delicious Uttarakhandi traditional cuisine at lunch hours.

Such mesmerising non political events on our traditional festivities are true and real occassions of meeting each other, exchanging pleasantries and cementing our bonds of cultural heritage n ethical values while living in metropolises. Kudos to Uttarakhand Lok MANCH for organising this wonderful event.
