Actually after casting of the votes in Delhi Assembly Elections today, 05.02.2025 for 70 Assembly seats, the percentage of voting in general is as informed by The Election Commission of India. The level of campaign has been at the lowest ebb this time. Allegations of all sorts were hurled by all political parties on one another. From distribution of money, liquor goods, etc. to threats and abuses were common, on one another. The use of language has been inappropriate. Such vicious language should not be used in public life. However, in Muslim dominated areas, the votes are divided between #Congress and #AAP
Not many Muslims are inclined to vote for BJP. There are total number of 70 assembly seats. In some areas the polling has been quite slow. Several surveys are showing different poll analysis and results. The key issues for the people of Delhi are different from other states of India. Delhi being the capital of India, has certain specific requirements. The New Delhi area is handled by #NDMC The VIP areas of LBZ are pretty beautiful. However, when we go east, west, north and south of Delhi, the situation remains almost the same. There are jhuggi colonies and clusters of illegal migrants from Bangladesh in large numbers. They change their names and get ‘Aadhaar’ card and other documents illegally.
The citizens of Delhi definitely need four things; i.e. clean drinking water, clean and pollution free environment etc. Free eduction is not important, but good education to the children at reasonable fees is important. Everyone in Delhi is not BPL card holder. Affordable electricity bills are important for Delhites. We are not talking about the free electricity up to 200 units, and 50% discount upto 400 units. Safety and security of women is an important issue. Analysts also say that this area comes under Delhi Police, which is under Home Minister Amit Shah. The Govt. of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has kept law and order in his own hands. Therefore, the Delhi government cannot be blamed. Most of the parties have been accusing Arvind Kejriwal of giving freebies. The social welfare schemes by the State are of course important, but the target of benefits should be the bourgeoisie, middle class. As is seen in West Bengal and Delhi, a large number of illegal migrants have become voters. In fact South Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar and other areas are full of illegal migrants from Bangladesh who changed their names from Muslim Bengalis to Indian Hindu and got Election Commission documents. Slums, Jhuggi – Jhopri clusters are a big vote bank. ‘Delhi Poll Dangal’ has come to an end. Arvind Kejriwal, Sandeep Dixit and Pravesh Verma’s contest from New Delhi, is apparently giving an edge to Sandeep Dixit. Congress has not been able to mobilise it’s grass root workers and their campaign level has been target-less. I.N.D.I.A. alliance has collapsed in Delhi because Congress is contesting against Aam Aadmi Party, though they were in coalition. Now they are enemies of the first order. Similar things have been happening in other states, which goes to the advantage of BJP.
Our analysis is also based on the fact that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assurance to give BJP a chance so that they can serve the people of Delhi after 25 years; has gone deep into the minds of voters. This is giving an edge to BJP, because their key campaigner in Delhi assembly elections, was Prime Minister #NarendraModi himself. #Atishi is a formidable candidate from Kalkaji. A large number of AAP workers have not worked enthusiastically. Congress could not strategize their campaign. BJP was focused to reach out to a common man. Dr. Kabir Siddiqui, Editor-in-Chief of The Aalami Media Group in his analysis has stated that BJP has an edge, as 25 years of their hibernation, has compelled them to work as a unified party.
My opinion is that after 25 years of exile #BJP has worked hard to reach out to the people of #Delhi In the last 5 years #Aam_Aadmi_Party has been disseminated and crashed. They have not been able to resolve the key issues like: cleansing of Yamuna river, clean drinking water, sanitation, Municipal Corporation of Delhi is most incompetent. No one is listening to the complaints of common man or empowering them. Liquor scam, getting unaccounted funds etc. several cases against Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia et’ all, have raised doubts in the minds of Delhites. On the other hand Congress has tried to revive itself, but their base is eroded. Therefore, they are not in a position to get more than 2 seats. I think the New Delhi seat is important because Sandeep Dixit is a formidable candidate. He has chances of winning, despite Arvind Kejriwal being ex Chief Minister. The morale of AAP candidates is at the lowest ebb. AAP’s agenda is already depleted. On the other hand, big leaders of BJP are working till the level of ‘Panna Pramukh’. #RSSorg swyam sevaks are supporting BJP. This is to mobilise and assure the people of Delhi, that they will work for the betterment of Delhi’s infrastructure. There is no doubt that Delhi is the most polluted city, ‘a gas chamber of the world’. Arvind Kejriwal and his party have failed to provide clean-air, clean drinking water or a reasonable price of electricity (not the free electricity), because BSES (BYPL) is extorting money from the middle class and traders. Rahul Gandhi addressed two rallies, but it is not cut any ice. On the other hand, BJP is solidly led from the front by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has appealed to the people of Delhi to give BJP a chance to serve them. He has assured to make Delhi, one of the best cities of the world. Also ‘TINA’ factor (there is no alternative), long fatigue, anti-incumbency and loss of people’s trust in leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, are points against AAP. The ‘Swati Maliwal incident’ has dented the image of AAP as a party of ‘users and throwers’. Crimes against women are on the rise. A large number of AAP MLAs and party-workers have left the party to join BJP. It is therefore analysed that BJP will form the government in Delhi. AAP will not be wiped out. People of Delhi have voted today (05.02.2025). Let’s wait for the results till it 08.02.2025.
