Pauri Garhwal activist asks to UK CM : Why two different discriminatory parameters to grant compensation to the victims of two bus accidents ? One in Bhimtaal and other at Pauri Garhwal

The chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami had sanctioned Rs. Ten lakh to each of the deceased and Rs. Three lakhs to every injured in the Bhimtaal bus accident case. Around five people have died in this tragic bus accident. However , in the Pauri Bus fatal accident case in which five people had died and several injured, a step motherly treatment has been meted out to the victims of this tragedy as according to a social activist of Pauri Garhwal Naman Chandola the Uttarakhand government has sanctioned Rs. Five lakh to each of the deceased and Rs.one lakh to the injured. The social activist Naman Chandola has asked as to why two different parameters have been applied in terms of giving monetary compensation to the dead and injured of two separate accidents, one in Bhimtaal and other in Pauri Garhwal ? In a social media post on his Facebook timeline social activist Naman Chandola has asked : We want to know why this discrimination?
You have been constantly accused of giving preference to Kumaon over Garhwal, so will you help the dead and injured in an accident by discriminating between Garhwal and Kumaon? Being extremely unambiguous social activist boldly asked the CM Dhami in his post in Hindi : You are the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, not just of Kumaon. This kind of division in society is not a good sign, so I request you to look at the people of Uttarakhand from the point of view of a Uttarakhandi. Society cannot progress with this Garhwal-Kumaon mentality. He harshly said : Chief Minister, please take a decision in the interest of the people and not in a discriminatory manner, otherwise we will not know when the people will come out on the streets.

We demand that the deceased in the Pauri bus accident be given Rs 10 lakh compensation and the seriously injured be given Rs 3 lakh each wrote Naman in his Social Media post expressing his immense disenchantment over the discriminatory attitude of the chief minister.

He tagged the CM, PM, BJP Uttarakhand to this post.
