Former Delhi Uttarakhand Kranti Dal chief and Uttarakhand movement activist B.S.Dhanola is no more. RIP
The former president of Delhi state Uttarakhand Kranti Dal who played a significant role in the separate Uttarakhand movement during the nineties and highly respected in Uttarakhandi circles in Delhi Bachan Singh Dhanola breathed his last at Ganga Ram hospital this evening leaving behind his family and friends in utter shock and dismay.
Also active in Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha Bachchan Singh Dhanola played a pivotal role in the separate Uttarakhand movement in Delhi during nineties and led the Uttarakhand Kranti Dal in the national capital for several years as it’s chief.
He was nearly 75 years old and was suffering from Kidney ailment admitted in Ganga Ram Hospital for the last few days.
He will be given final adieu at Nigam Bodh Ghat at 11.30 Tommorow morning.
He was also the advisor to Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha, the biggest representative social organisation of Uttarakhand in Delhi including observer of Uttarakhand and the chairman of Uttarakhand Prakosht.
The president of Uttarakhand Journalists Forum, editor UK Nation News and Director, Press Club of India Sunil Negi has expressed his deepest condolences on the shocking demise of BS Dhanola saying that his contribution to the separate movement in Delhi was immeasurable leading as the chief of UKD in the national capital in the past. His passing away is indeed a huge loss to Uttarakhand fraternity. OM shanti.
The outgoing president of Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha Ajay Bisht in his condolence message said : Extremely sad. The news of the demise of Shri Bachan Singh Dhanola ji, advisor, social worker and lifelong member of Garhwal Hitaishini Sabha is heart-breaking. Respected Dhanola ji was our guide and mentor. His demise is an irreparable loss for the Uttarakhand society said Bisht in his condolence message.
