Delhi FOPS to felicitate visionary leaders in their annual ceremony on 24 th December at Madhya Pradesh Bhawan, Chanakyapuri
The Federation of Public Schools, Delhi (FOPS) proudly serves as a collective body representing approximately 300 schools across Delhi. Our mission is to
support member schools by addressing their challenges and advocating for
effective solutions with relevant authorities such as CBSE, DOE, and MCD.
Over the years, FOPS has grown steadily, with an expanding membership base that
has strengthened our resolve to achieve excellence and contribute meaningfully to
the educational community.
The president of Federation of public schools, Delhi, ( FOPS) Dr M.S.Rawat was addressing a press conference in New Delhi. Addressing the media Rawat said : One of our flagship initiatives is the annual State Teacher Award Ceremony, which celebrates outstanding educators and motivates them to continue their exemplary work.
Additionally, we recognize visionary leaders in education with the Lifetime Achievement Award for their enduring contributions said M.S.Rawat. He said that this year, this ceremony would be organized on 24th December,2024 at Auditorium, Madhya Pradesh Bhawan, 29 C-D, Jesus & Mary Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi –
110021 at 4 pm onwards.
Mentioning about the annual ceremony not happening earlier due to dreaded pandemic Rawat said unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic forced a six-year hiatus in organizing this prestigious event. However, we are delighted to resume this year with renewed enthusiasm said Rawat. He added that in 2024, seven Lifetime Achievement Awards will be conferred, including some posthumously, as a mark of respect for the extraordinary efforts of those no longer with us.
Moreover, 62 remarkable teachers will be honored for
their dedication, creativity, and influence in shaping young minds. These educators
have truly illuminated the path of learning for countless generations. Giving details about the event Rawat said : This year’s ceremony will be graced by the presence of distinguished guests,including Shri Harsh Malhotra, Union Minister of State, Ministry of Corporate Affairs & Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Shri Ajay Chaudhary, IPS, Special Commissioner, Delhi Police, Shri Abhishek Bhati, Associate Professor, Bowling Green State University, US etc.
