I and B, ANI and Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra withdraw their condolence messages from X about Dr.Zakir Hussain’s death, family denies saying he is in ICU

The shocking news about the sad demise of the legendary Tabla virtuoso, Padma Vibhushan and four time Grammy awards winner Dr. Zakir Hussain earlier confirmed by the ministry of Information and several leaders of Congress sending condolence messages on X including the News Agency ANI flashing the news have been withdrawn as the nephew and close family members including a friend of Hussain has confirmed that he is on ICU in a San Francisco hospital due to the age related cardiac complications. They need prayers for his recovery said the nephew earlier not rumours. He and other family members requested not to spread rumours about his death as he is still on treatment on ICU at a San Fransisco Hospital. What they need are prayers for his early recovery said the relatives and friends on social media appealing not to spread rumours about the Tabla virtuoso’s death.

According to the ANI’s post on its social media handle X annexing the print of the earlier tweet of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting confirming the news of the sad demise of Dr. Zakir Hussain, Tabla maestro now withdrawn says : The tweet ( screen shot attached) is being deleted as the original tweet by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has been deleted. An update or official confirmation from family , hospital or the consulate in San Fransisco ( where there are reports he is undergoing health check ups) is still awaited said the ANI post on X.

After the tweet of I and B confirming the death of Dr. Zakir Hussain the LOP ( Leader of the Opposition) Rahul Gandhi, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had expressed their deepest condolences on the sudden demise of the Tabla virtuoso but had later withdrawn their condolence messages from X after the I and B, deleted its confirmation tweet.
