ACCREDITED JOURNALISTS ASSOCIATION AND PRESS CLUB OF INDIA TO FELICITATE 12 JOURNALISTS ON NATIONAL FREEDOM DAY 16, 2024

The Accredited Journalists Association with the Press Club of India is felicitating twelve journalists which includes a photo journalist of repute in the ocassion of the National Press Day 2024 which commemorates the establishment of the Press Council of India which ensures that the press maintains the highest ethics of journalistic standards of media freedom and free expression to ensure free and independent journalist irrespective of any external influences. The twelve journalists who are being felicitated by these two media organisations are senior journalist earlier with AIR n Doordarshan Arun Joshi, Dinesh Sharma from Zee TV, Sunil Negi, Editor UKnationnews, Vijay Sharma, Editor Veer Arjun, Naveen Gautam, freelance journalist, Rajiv Gupta, photo journalist, Julia Gangwani, Editor Bluemoon, Anil Sharma, Editor Bharat TV, Shivender , journalist AAJ SAMAJ, Pradeep Chaturvedi, independent journalist, Sandeep Sharma, editor MKM, and Mrs.Banapani Panda, chief Editor Badadasta Odissa. According to the president of Accredited Journalist Association ( Regd) Vijay Shankar Chaturvedi the chief guest of this event is former member of Parliament and president DPCC Jai Prakash Agrawal and the Press Club of India president Gautam Lahiri will inaugurate it. The former cabinet minister of Delhi and veteran journalist Ramakant Goswami will release the souvenir on this ocassion. The guest of honour of this s grand function are the Additional Director General PIB Raj Kumar, Director Nehru Yuvak Kendra Sangathan Prakash Vaidya, Secretary General Press Club of India Neeraj Thakur and former IAS, secretary in Government of India S.K.Bhandari. Mr. Kowdle Chennappa and Vijay Shankar Chaturvedi will accord the vote of thanks on the conclusion of the function. The awardees are leading journalists with high experience having contributed in Hindi and English journalism for several decades in various newspapers, periodicals and television channels including AIR.
