Renowned choreographer Remo D’Souza and his wife in real mess. Case of Fraud of Rs 12 crores allegedly registered against them and give others
The renowned Bollywood Choreographer Remo D’Souza is in real mess. He and his wife Liselle D’ Souza have been allegedly found involved in a fraud pertaining to Rs. 11.96 crores with regard to a Dance Troupe case and an F IR has been registered at Mira road Police Station at Thane, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
According to various news reports a 26 year old dancer has filed a complaint against Remo and his wife Lizelle in Mira Road police station at Thane saying that Remo and another partner has misrepresented the dance troupe’s achievements from 2018 to 2024 for six years incessantly thus winning the price money by way of his troupe participating in a television dance competition.
According to the complainant – the 26 years old dancer has reportedly claimed the dance group as their own and allegedly misappropriated the prize amount.
According to media reports on 16 October , an FIR after a written complaint was registered in Mira road Police station at Thane, Mumbai, Maharashtra against Remo, his wife Lizelle and five other co- accused.
Despite being a renowned choreographer everyone know that he had been a popular judge in reality dance shows on television since 2009 like popular dance shows – DANCE INDIA DANCE, JHALAK DIKHLAJA, DANCE KE SUPERSTARS, DANCE PLUS, DANCE CHAMPIONS, INDIA’S BEST DANCER, DID LITTLE MASTER, AND DID SUPER MOMS ETC.
From 2018 to 2024 he hosted Dance plus ( season 4,5.6) India’s best dancer, Hip hop India, and dance plus shows etc.
Remo is gearing up for the release of his Prime Video film ‘Be Happy’, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Inayat Verma in the lead roles. Directed by Remo and produced by Liesel, the film is the story of a single father and his daughter. The film also stars Nora Fatehi, Nassar, Johnny Lever and Harleen Sethi.
