Former Delhi Health minister Satyendra Jain released on bail by Rouse Avenue Court after 30 June 2022
After getting bail in money laundering case under the stringent sections of PMLA, the former Delhi health minister who was in jail for more than eighteen months have finally been released on bail on Friday. After being released from Tihar jail after protracted incarceration , longest period among other VIPs having been in jail Satyendra Jain was welcomed by the Delhi chief minister Atishi Marlena, former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia , Sanjay Singh MP and other leaders and activists. While being in jail the former health minister Satyendra Jain has been physically shattered and became weak due to ailments as well.
After the release of the former health minister Satyendra Jain from Tihar prison , jubilant Delhi chief minister Atishi Marlena Singh said that the truth has finally prevailed and triumphed. After being released from the jail Satyendra Jain said that there is no dearth of political leaders and parties but asked why has the ruling political dispensation arrested him ? He said that the former Delhi CM and national convenor of AAP Arvind Kejrival has established a party of common people, for the common men and by the common men.
He said that they were arrested because he had done outstanding work to improve the health services in Delhi and similarly the former deputy CM Manish Sisodia have improved the lot of the schools in Delhi said Satyendra Jain. He said those who arrested us were afraid that if they are allowed to do all the good works in schools, hospitals etc in Delhi who will care for them ? Therefore the AAP leaders were arrested said Satyendra Jain. He further said : They were afraid that since the common man has closed their political shops for the good work executed by them and their government they have arrested us pointing towards the Bhartiya Janata Party said the former health minister of Delhi Satyendra Jain.
In his long speech he said he has been arrested because they ( BJP) wanted to stop me from doing good works in hospitals and health sector of Delhi carried out by Arvind Kejrival and his government. Now Arvind Kejrival has come out, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh including me are out of jail. Now we will do all the good pro people centric works. I was arrested because I have taken forward the job to clean the Yamuna as desired by our then CM Arvind Kejrival said Satyendra Jain. Now we will get the Yamuna cleaned fully said Jain in his speech.
Kindly recall that the Rouse Avenue Court has accorded bail to former Delhi health minister Satyendra Jain after being arrested on 30 June 2022. He has been asked to furnish the bond of Rs 50 thousand prohibiting him to move out of the country. On 30 th June 2022 he was arested by the Enforcement Directorate on money laundering case under PMLA act connected with his four companies. However, the apex court had released Satyendra Jain by giving him interim bail ( parole) on health grounds on 26 May, 2023 which was extended for some more time.
In a congratulatory message on X after the release of the former Delhi health minister Satyendra Jain on bail Delhi CM Atishi posted a picture of her and other leaders welcoming Jail and wrote : Today once again the Constitution of the country has won.
