Four year old child brutally killed by a maneater in Tehri Garhwal Uttarakhand !
Have no words to express our deepest condolences and grief towards the most traumatic parents who have yet again lost their four year old son who became prey to the dreaded maneater in village Bangao( Kemar) in Jaunpur block in Tehri Garhwal district. The four year old child had gone to his grandparents ( Naunihaal) house and was brutally killed after the maneater leopard pounced on him while playing in the house compound and dragged away killing him brutally with his mutilated body found some distance away by the panicked villagers. This tragic incident is of Purvaal village. The forest department team has reached the affected village and took the mutilated dead body into its fold with local police sending it for postmortem to fulfil the legal formalities. The villagers and surrounding population is in a state of panic demanding catching the maneater in the iron cage after tranquillizing it, and if possible ged rid of it as the panic stricken families are apprehensive of their school going children getting injured or killed in future etc. There had been number of human kills by maneaters in Garhwal and Kumaon, Uttarakhand with Rikhnikhal, Nainidanda, Kaljikhal, Pauri blocks including Devprayag, Lansdowne etc witnessing number of dreaded incidents when old aged women and children had been grappled from house compounds and killed brutally by the maneaters with their mutilated dead bodies found in nearby or distant jungles or buses etc.
