SHATTERED VINESH PHOGAT takes ” SANYAS” , GOES TO ARBITRATION COURT FOR SPORTS TO CLAIM SILVER MEDAL
After being disqualified in the wrestling competition in Paris Olympics due to the increase in 100 grams weight, the badly shattered wrestler and Olympian admitted in a hospital for dehydration shattered Vinesh Phogat taken ” SANYAS”, from wrestling and appealed to the international Court of Arbitration for sports urging to give her silver medal at least if not being allowed to compete in the finals despite her qualifying the competition.
Vinesh Phogat has become the first Indian woman wrestler to defeat three women wrestlers of eminence in a single day reaching the final in Paris Olympics.
Vinesh by her outstanding feats has secured a spot in the history by defeating undefeatable, the Olympics Gold winner Yui Susaki of Japan, followed by defeating the European champion Oksana Livach and then the Pan American champion Yusnelys Guzman thus achieving the record of being the first woman wrestler to reach the Olympics final by her back to back triumphs.
Today Vinesh Phogat is so shattered despite the entire nation standing behind her in unison she wrote in anguish on her handle X addressing her plight to her mother : Mom won the wrestling match against me, I lost. Forgive me, your dream, my courage is all broken, I don’t have any more strength now. Goodbye Wrestling 2001-2024

Meanwhile prime minister Narendra Modi for the first time in order to boost her shattering morale and courage wrote on his social media handle X :
Vinesh, you are a champion among champions! You are India’s pride and an inspiration for each and every Indian. Today’s setback hurts. I wish words could express the sense of despair that I am experiencing. At the same time, I know that you epitomise resilience. It has always been your nature to take challenges head on. The Tokyo Olympics Bronze medal winner Bajrang Punia who always stood hand to hand with Vinesh Phogat during her thick and thin wrote on X :
Vinesh, you have not lost, you have been defeated, for us you will always be a winner, you are not only the daughter of India but also the pride of India wrote Bajrang Punia on X.
It may be recalled that Vinesh Phogat had worked hard a night before the final bout with her American competitor along with her coach and the dietician Mr. Virendra Dahiya to maintain her weight but unfortunately hard lucked Vinesh couldn’t get through after her weight limit crossed 100 grams sending her and the entire nation in the state of shock.
Now, though the Olympics chief has very clearly said that for Vinesh Phogat the rules can’t bent, the only hope lies with the International Court of Arbitration for sports.
Meanwhile, the chief minister of Haryana Naib Singh Saini has categorically said that for Haryana being its daughter and an outstanding and promising world champion she is a Silver medal winner. The Haryana government will treat her on the same footing as the prestigious Silver medal winner when she returns back to INDIA. It may be recalled that the entire nation stands undisputedly with Vinesh Phogat as a true victor of the Paris Olympics Gold winner and would be acknowledging the exceptional receptions in India considering her as a true winner.
The Indian Olympics Association chief popularly known as the “Udan Pari” of India ( the flying queen) P.T Usha met Vinesh in the hospital and parted with her her anguish consoling her for the hard lucked mishappening that occured with her.
Kindly recall that when the entire nation is standing in unison emotionally with determined and dedicated wrestler Vinesh Phogat inspite her being sidelined from the final competition and making her devoid for winning any medal, then the decision of her bidding final adieu to wrestling for ever is indeed a very hard, challenging and controversial decision for which the circumstances have compelled her.
