A huge landslide has occured at Badrinath National Highway today, the video of which has gone viral in social media. The landslide was so massive that the clouds of dust lasted for several minutes indicating that a massive portion of the mountain has come down abruptly during the ongoing monsoon. The huge landslide resulted in blockage of the Badrinath national highway reveal news reports. According to the narration in the social media while posting the video the huge landslide took place at around 12 PM near Patwal Langa Langsee. Within no time if the landslide there were massive clouds of dust n debris. The debris of the huge mountain has also demolished the roads of the highway badly. The scene in the video posted in social media was so disturbing that those who viewed it was in panic and some of them could be heard bothered in the video. The Badrinath Joshimath highway has been closed for now. The Joshimath n areas around Badrinath Kedarnath , its roads are really extremely risky with so many fatal accidents taking place very often. Moreover the meteorological department had already predicted about heavy rains in Uttarakhand including Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar. In addition to this yellow alert was also issued in view of the heavy rains coming in Nainital and Champawat districts. There was also prediction of heavy rains in the coming three days in entire Uttarakhand.
