Attacking the Congress and lauding his double engine government in Uttarakhand prime minister Narendra Modi said that the development processes in the Himalayan state caught speed and referred to the over ambitious ongoing projects of all weather roads and train services from Rishikesh to Karnaprayag being introduced for the first time after independence. He lost no opportunity to count the various developmental projects in terms of spiritual and religious development in Uttarakhand including all weather roads and Rishikesh to Karnaprayag Rail projects including the upgradation of Kedarnath and Badrinath Dhams saying that these good results are being acknowledged due to the positive and transparent approach of the saffron party government. He raised the issue of corruption accusing the previous Congress governments to snatch the rights of the poor and down trodden unambiguously blaming them for eating the budget of the poor. Had there been the Congress government there would have been corruption all round said PM Modi. He said that the Congress government is badly disturbed due to his governments invasion against corruption. Attacking the Congress leader and former chief minister Harish Rawat , though not naming him, PM Modi tried to criticise the Congress for propagating dynastic rule. Kindly recall that Harish Rawat had got tickets for his son despite his daughter already the MLA from Haridwar ( Rural) assembly constituency and his wife having already list from Haridwar when he was CM. Modi said that for Congress and it’s leader everything is confined to families promotion. He also tried to create an environment in the name of Lord Rama and religious issues and targetted the Congress party for expelling those from the party who had gone to Ayodhya on the day of consecration of Ram temple etc. PM Narendra Modi have been saying so in his other public meetings too. He accused and criticized Congress for questioning the existence and spiritual relevance of the pious Ganges. Talking about the developmental India and Uttarakhand he appealed the electorates of Uttarakhand to vote for BJP and ensure their victories on all the five parliamentary constituencies. Those present on the Dias with the prime minister were the Haridwar candidate Trivendra Singh Rawat, Tehri Garhwal candidate Maharani Rajya Lakshmi Shah, Pauri Garhwal candidate Anil Baluni , former CMs Vijay Bahuguna, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Tirath Singh Rawat , Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, BJP chief of Uttarakhand , Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt and others.
