After central government, Uttarakhand state government also declares half day holiday on 22 nd January

Following the footsteps of the central government, the Uttarakhand government too has declared the half day holiday on 22 nd January the historic day of the consecration of Lord Rama statue in the presence of prime minister Narendra Modi at Ayodhya. Yesterday the central government had declared the half day government holiday for central government employees and in institutions. But in Uttarakhand the government employees are annoyed and badly disenchanted demanding the full day holiday saying that what is the point coming to office after being busy in the consecration ceremony during the day. They mean that half day they will be busy in consecration and wi then come to office. This is not done saud annoyed government employees of Uttarakhand. In a state government memorandum ii is said that in view of the consecration ceremony of Lord Rama on January 22 nd the state government has decided to declare half day holiday to all the state employees and employees of state government institutions.

केंद्र सरकार के नक्शेकदम पर चलते हुए उत्तराखंड सरकार ने भी 22 जनवरी को अयोध्या में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की मौजूदगी में भगवान राम की मूर्ति की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के ऐतिहासिक दिन पर आधे दिन की छुट्टी की घोषणा की है। कल केंद्र सरकार ने केंद्रीय कर्मचारियों और संस्थानों में आधे दिन की सरकारी छुट्टी की घोषणा की थी. लेकिन उत्तराखंड में पूरे दिन की छुट्टी की मांग से सरकारी कर्मचारी नाराज और बुरी तरह निराश हैं और उनका कहना है कि दिन में प्रतिष्ठा समारोह में व्यस्त रहने के बाद ऑफिस आने का क्या मतलब है. उनका मतलब है कि आधे दिन वे अभिषेक में व्यस्त रहेंगे और फिर कार्यालय आएंगे। ऐसा न करने से उत्तराखंड के सरकारी कर्मचारी नाराज हैं। राज्य सरकार के ज्ञापन ii में कहा गया है कि 22 जनवरी को भगवान राम के अभिषेक समारोह के मद्देनजर राज्य सरकार ने सभी राज्य कर्मचारियों और राज्य सरकार के संस्थानों के कर्मचारियों को आधे दिन की छुट्टी घोषित करने का निर्णय लिया है।
