Salaries and other emoluments of Vice chairmen of various boards and corporations increased in UTTARAKHAND -CM’s New Year gift
As the national elections are nearing, the chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami wants to keep everyone in good humour, thinking that they will work hard and bring good results in the parliamentary elections.
The BJP wants to ensure that all the five Lok Sabha parliamentary seats of Uttarakhand which are currently in its kitty need not go in the lap of Congress, fearing the ongoing anti incumbency factor against his government as well as the sitting parliament members.
There are rumours that majority of the tickets of sitting parliament members of Garhwal and Kumaon Lok Sabha may be changed to avoid anti incumbency bringing new younger faces.
However, the chief minister has his own style of functioning to please the ” Dayitwadharies” In his government.
The chief minister has increased the salaries, their “Bhatta”, emoluments , petrol allowance of their cars including increase in the staff capacity etc.
According to the latest news the chief minister has opened the government’s treasury for the leaders of his party to keep them in good humour.
Now every state minister rank holder, the vice chairman of various corporations, Boards, Council etc will now get Rs 45000 as monthly salary instead of Rs. 35000.
Not only this but the monthly expenses/ rent etc of their Red beacon cars have been increased from 60 thousand to 80 thousand.
They would be getting the staff, railway, air tickets and office rents etc as before in addition to the aforesaid increase in monthly salary and other emoluments.
If the state minister tank holder uses his/ her own car instead of the government vehicle with red beacon they will be given Rs 40000 extra in addition to the salary of Rs. 45000 every month.
This increase in the salary and other emoluments of the state minister rank holder chairmen of various, boards, councils and corporations etc of the state which is already experiencing fiscal deficit of more than Rs 80000 crores annually over burdens the state already in financial jeopardy.
It may be recalled that there are 21 vice chairmen of various boards, corporations and councils holding state minister rank currently in Uttarakhand from the saffron party.
