BJP wins with thunderous majority in Rajasthan, MP and Chhattisgarh

The Modi juggernaut has finally swept the assembly polls in five states with the saffron party winning in all the three states hands down being quite ahead of rival Congress party. In Madhya Pradesh, the ruling party Bhartiya Janata Party while the counting is still in progress the party has secured victory in 160 assembly seats going plus by 51 seats compared to the last election victory.

According to the caretaker chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan there wasn’t the anti incumbency factor in Madhya Pradesh and the people of Madhya Pradesh have responded in a hard hitting way to the taunt of Congress party and Rahul Gandhi using the derogatory word of PANAUTI against the PM.

In Chhattisgarh, out of total 90 seats the Bhartiya Janata Party has bagged 53 seats with 34 going to the Congress party which was ruling it.

While the Congress lost 34 seats, the saffron party added 35 seats into its tally compared to the previous tally.

In Rajasthan the Ashok Gehlot Congress government suffered a huge setback with BJP securing a massive mandate of 110 seats out of total 199 while the Congress party on saddle during the last five year could only satisfy itself with 72 seats losing 52 seats compared to the previous victory five years ago.

There is jubilation in the BJP camp with saffron party workers dancing to the tunes of drums etc and distributing sweets.

It may be recalled that the prime minister Narendra Modi has extensively campaigned in all the states that went to poll and had appealed to voters to vote for lotus making them clear that these elections are his personal prestige.

These votes primarily have been cast to prime minister Narendra Modi who had emphatically appealed to voters to press the button of EVM in such a way that they are giving capital punishment to the opposition parties/ leaders.

The Congress party’s defeat on the other hand is a clear cut defeat of Rahul Gandhi and thus the defeat of the I. N. D. I. A.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh has said that the massive victory of BJP in three states is the victory of PM Modi’s transparent credibility and guarantees given to electorates of the five states during the elections.
