Construction works and factories to resume business from Monday. Partial lockdown lifted in Delhi

The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival has announced that after his meeting with Delhi Disaster Management Authority chaired by Leiutnant governor Anil Baijal it has been decided to open the Delhi lockdown from Monday, though partially.

Now, the activities in construction business and factories will be resumed from Monday keeping in view the financial jeopardy and plight of the construction workers and working class hailing from the lower strata of the society adversely affected by the lockdown said Arvind Kejrival.

He catagorically said that the AAP government in not at all in favour of the lockdown as it’s imposition is never good. But in view of the escalating pandemic cases it became inevitable n absolutely necessary.

Now we are quite satisfied that after five weekly lockdowns the Covid 19 situation in Delhi has considerably improved with yesterday, the single day Covid 19 infections coming down to nearly 1100 cases with no shortage of ICU beds and oxygen in Delhi hospitals.

Addressing a virtual press conference Arvind Kejrival however said that in case the the capital again witnesses the surge in cases, the Delhi government will have to re – impose the lockdown lifting the partial relaxation that is being done in construction sector n factories. He appealed to Delhites that they should strictly adhere to Covid regulations and ensure that the Covid cases do not spike again.

Kindly recall that in Delhi there had been 14.2 lakh cases with 13.8 lakh recovered with 23.842 fatalities, though this figure is reported to be squeezed say opposition party leaders.
