Javed Akhtar calls Rahul ” Oxymoron of Democracy after Salman termed him future king of democracy

A war of words through their respective twitter handles have commenced between the senior Congress leader and former union minister Salman Khurshid and eminent Bollywood scriptwriter Javed Akhtar with several twittereties responding with sharp reactions, majority of them opposing Akhtar and some calling him opportunist while some terming Rahul a fit choice to be the future PM despite Javed Akhtar tweeting that Rahul’s becoming PM statement will guarantee PM Modi sitting on the chair of PM On permanent basis. Responding three days after Salman Khushid’s twitter with the pic of Rajiv Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi terming him( Rahul) as the FUTURE KING OF INDIAN DEMOCRAY AS WAS RAJIV GANDHI IN THE PAST, Javed has issued the tweet today terming him as Oxymoron of Congress guaranteeing PM chair to Modi forever.

It may be recalled that about three days ago senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid tweeted posting pictures of Rajiv and Rahul Gandhi with the title : THE ONCE AND FUTURE KING OF DEMOCRACY.

After three days, today, ( Monday), the Bollywood’s veteran scriptwriter Javed Akhtar came out with his twitter though lauding Rahul Gandhi as an acceptable opposition leader but a futile case as the nation’s PM ” terming him as” Khurshid’s Oxymoron of, ” king of Democracy, as according to him, declaring his name for the top slot of the country will only help in the present PM Narendra Modi sitting on the PM’s chair for always.

This statement of Javed Akhtar annoyed several Rahul Gandhi fans, supporters and protagonists.

In a tweet on Monday eminent Bollywood writer, lyricist n poet wrote :

“Mr. Salman Khurshid, your oxymoron king of democracy is utterly pathetic. Rahul Gandhi can be accepted as one of the opposition leaders but anyone who fantasizes RG as PM is doing his best to keep Mr. Modi prime minister forever, tweeted Javed Akhtar.

The tweet of Javed Akhtar was met with several negative comments such as being OPPORTUNIST, WHY DON’T HE RECOMMEND’S HIS SON’S NAME FARHAN AKHTAR FOR PM’S POST WHO DANCES ETC. A twittereti Santosh Patate while replying to Akhtar wrote : How to seek attention after a long gap? Javed Akhtar, Ram Chandra Guha tweet against RG without offending prime minister ….Emperor happy, bhakta happy, Amit Malware types happy, Result nuisance.

Another twittereti Nikhil Jadav wrote : Javed Akhtar is wrong. Rahul Gandhi has all the requisite capabilities to be the PM, if you are not blind folded by the nasty campaign against him. BJP meticulously maligned his image by installing proper IT Cell n trollers. Modi can fool people, once or twice but not all the times. Voter of India is vibrant as democracy tweeted Nikhil. Another twittereti wrote : Excuse me Javed Akhtar ji, you write well but that does not mean that U r thought process is above reproach! First understand the person, before giving him epitaphs. How do U know as to how good or bad he will be if U don’t give him a chance, you give to an uneducated person, the chance to 1/2 tweeted ” Don’t Underestimate the power” twitter handle. Another tweeted Javed Sir tell me what qualifications for Rahul did not have which the present PM, Modiji, Amitji n UP CM have. Is their any fix criteria to become a PM ?
