LEADING COMIC ACTOR HAVING WORKED IN 500 BOLLYWOOD AND SIX REGIONAL LANGUAGE FILMS BIRBAL IS NO MORE. RIP

The leading comic actor of Bollywood SATINDER Kumar KHOSLA popularly known as BIRBAL who had acted in over 500 films in Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Marathi and Hindi dialects ( Bollywood) had died in Mumbai this evening in Kokila Ben hospital. Born on 29 October 1938 in Gurdaspur, Punjab BIRBAL’s debut was from film Badan followed by Manoj Kumar’s super duper hit UPKAAR never to look back again. Expressing his deepest condolences Girish Johar wrote on X, earlier twitter : Supremely talented # BirbalKhosla ji is no more… irreparable Loss , God bless the departed soul and give strength to the family. RIP. BIRBAL was 85 years old. The legendary comic actor BIRBAL KHOSLA was indeed a humorous, supremely talented and down to earth human being. He was in good health though running 85 but it seems that he was destined to leave for his eternal journey leaving entire Bollywood and his friends and fans in shocking mode. According to leading film journalist Pradeep Sardana highly talented comic artist and a leading actor BIRBAL had worked apart from Bollywood movies in 6 others languages’ films. Whenever he use to come to Delhi he used to meet him. BIRBAL apart from a legendary comic actor used to sing songs of Kishore Kumar with great charm and passion. He was an outstanding singer said Pradeep Sardana. He was known ti him for the last four decades. His loss is a personal irreparable loss says Sardana on the sad demise of BIRBAL.

दिग्गज हास्य अभिनेता, बेहद अच्छे इंसान और अपने पुराने दोस्त बीरबल aka SATINDER KUMAR KHOSLA के निधन से बेहद दुखी। आज शाम 6.30 बजे उनका मुंबई के कोकिलाबेन अस्पताल में निधन हो गया। बीरबल ने करीब 600 फिल्मों में काम किया। जिनमें हिन्दी के साथ 6 अन्य भाषाओं की फिल्में भी शामिल हैं। उनकी पहली फिल्म 1966 में आई ‘दो बदन’ थी। उन्होंने अपने दौर के सभी फ़िल्मकारों, अभिनेताओं और अभिनेत्रियों के साथ काम किया। अपनी 84 की उम्र में भी वह भले चंगे थे। वह जब भी दिल्ली आते तो मिलते थे। मैं भी मुंबई में उनके घर पर और समारोहों में उनसे मिलता रहता था। फोन और व्हाट्सएप पर भी उनसे अक्सर गप-शप होती रहती थी। वह अभिनेता होने के साथ गायक भी बहुत अच्छे थे। किशोर कुमार के गीत तो वह बहुत मस्ती से गाते थे। मेरे youtube चैनल pradeep sardana show के आशा पारेख इंटरव्यू , कटी पतंग और होली स्पेशल एपिसोड में भी हमने उनके गाये गीतों के मुखड़े को लिया था। मेरे कहने पर रात में तभी उन्होंने अपना गीत वीडियो पर रिकॉर्ड करके मुझे भेज दिया था। उनसे करीब 35-40 बरसों से अच्छे संबंध रहे।
