Uttarakhand CM assures state citizens that no one will be victimised in the name of unauthorised occupation or construction unless it is utmostly necessary.

The chief minister of Uttarakhand today assured the people of his state that there will be no victimisation in the name of unauthorised occupation and subsequent demolition actions. The chief minister also directed the district magistrates of the various districts of the state to ensure that in the name of unauthorised demolition action on road sides occupants or unauthorised construction etc the general public will not be harassed or victimised unless it is very necessary. The chief minister’s video is doing round in social media in which he categorically said that other than cases of unauthorised occupation on government lands particularly on forest lands the common people should not be victimised or harassed. However, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami warned those capturing the forest and government lands in the name of land Jihad and building unauthorised symbolic structures in the name of religion though not naming them directly obviously referring to Mazars etc, that they will not be spared and action will be taken against these illegal amd unauthorised occupants. It may be recalled that the general elections are nearing and the state government is in no mood to annoy anyone, hence this assurance from the CM reveal sources.
