Vigilant Uttarakhand police expose a sex racket in Dehradun and Mussoorie run by husband and wife

UTTARAKHAND known as Devbhoomi means a place where Gods live. The four historical religious portals are situated here but in this, KALYUG there are always good and bad sides of a coin. Uttarakhand today has become fully commercialised in every aspect to mint excessive profits. Crimes have entered this Devbhoomi, Scams have arrived here and so corruptors in large number including outsiders with suspicious backgrounds entering here, buying lands and finding this a safe destination to carry out immoral acts (safe haven) . Though we had been hearing a lot about love jihad here, village girls allegedly eloping with boys , criminals seeking refuge finding Uttarakhand a safe haven but sex racket operating here with wide network was never heard so frequently as a recent case of a husband wife having been involved in supplying women and girls in sex affair were caught by the Thaana Rajpur police with two women rescued being active for long. According to news reports on independence day while conducting operation PRAHAAR the vigilant Rajpur Dehradun police trapped a notorious husband wife who were operating a sex racket supplying girls to prospective customers in Mussouri and Dehradun since long minting tremendous profit. According to the SSP Dehradun acting on a top off from reliable sources the vigilant Rajpur Police station police personnel and AHTU team Dehradun with their sheer intelligence and vigilance caught Aggarwal husband wife, the mastermind behind a wide network of sex racket operating in Dehradun, Mussoorie and other hill stations of Uttarakhand minting multiple profits. The modus operandi of the Aggarwal husband wife was to supply girls and women to various destinations on demand like lodges, hotels, etc against attractive payments, obviously with the consent of the girls and women. Though there were complaints but the police were in search of credible evidences to nail the culprits. On the tip of by a police informer on 14 th August the vigilant police personnel of Rajpur Thana, Dehradun and AHTU team intensified their search operation. While petrolling at Kuthal Gate barrier Dehradun they came across a car in which two girls were sitting on the back seat with husband and wife on front seat. The police enquired on feeling suspicion . They disclosed their names on enquiry but on being asked about the antecedents of two women sitting in the back seat, the response wasn’t satisfactory, rather shaky. The police became strict and asked the man on the driver seat harshly. The man on driver seat S. Aggarwal, the mastermind broke down and disclosed about their sex racket in Dehradun and Mussouri etc where they supply girls and women involved in sex racket on demand against attractive payments. Mr. Aggarwal also disclosed that his wife Sapna Aggrawal is also a co partner in this shabby and shady business. During enquiry they told the police that these women were being taken to some customers at Mussourie. The police have recovered objectionable material in the car. Being a hill station Mussourie is full of tourists most of the time especially during summer. However tourists from various states throng here in all seasons even during winters to see the snowfall and under the garb of tourist season suspicious couples like S. Aggrawals mint lot of money by organising illegal sex racket in hill stations and state capital of Uttarakhand supplying girls to their contacts. The two women though would be probed have been rescued by the police.
