According to sources the Manipur situation especially the naked parade of three women and subsequent alleged rapes with about 130 brutal deaths and hundreds of villages burnt with PM not uttering a single word inside the parliament has degraded the image of the ruling party at the centre and in States likely to have an adverse impact in various states in the forthcoming general elections apart from anti incumbency factor etc . The national high command has issued special directives to all state to tighten their belts and make necessary preparations in their respective states to ensure that electorates are kept in good humour.

The skyrocketing inflation at the pan India level including prices of all consumables going out of control has badly impacted the ruling party at the centre and several states, especially those ruled by it. The unemployment issue and increasing prices of petro products and consumer has has also negatively impacted the chances of the ruling party especially after the formation of INDIA by 28 non BJP opposition parties seemingly fully geared to pose a formidable challenge to the saffron party and it’s allies in 2024. The logjam in parliaments both houses on sensitive Manipur issue has also put the ruling party in quandary with USA and, UK too taking note of it and raising it in their respective parliaments.
