Two adolescent girls drowned at Nayar River, Satpuli this morning on first Monday of SHRAVAN

Soni and Saroj went to offer water to Shiva
On the very first Monday of the month of Shravan, the overflowing stream of Maa Balkunwari river i.e. Nayar river took the sacrifice of two girls of Odal village of Tehsil Satpuli.
26-year-old Saroj and 15-year-old Soni of Odal village had gone to Dangleshwar Mahadev temple early today with other women of the village to perform Jalabhishek. Due to the strong current of the river, both of them left their holding hands and the waves took them with them. Due to the high velocity of the river, she was unable to come to the shore, as a result of which the Nayar river killed both of them.
It is being told that 15-year-old Soni was a class 10 student at Vidya Mandir in Satpuli.

Even though Nayar river seems to be a normal stream at first sight, but history is the witness that only in Satpuli area this river takes sacrifice every year in every season. In such a situation, it is fatal to take lightly the current and the rods of this river.
