BJP Jahanabad General Secretary Vijay K. Singh succumbed to Lathi blows by police in PMCH ( hospital), BJP MP also injured !
A BJP leader and general secretary of Jahanabad district of Bihar has succumbed to the grievous injuries he got while being lathi charged by Bihar police while marching to Bihar Assembly precincts demanding implemention of the old domicile policy and revocation of the new one including resignation of the deputy chief minister Tejasvi Yadav on various corruption charges. The BJP Jahan abad district general secretary Vijay Kumar Singh died while under treatment after lathi charged on Vijay Kumar Singh at PMCH hospital, Patna. One of the BJP MPs from Bihar has also been injured in this lathi charge. The BJP national chief Jagat Prakash Nadda has in a tweet strongly condemned the lathi blows on BJP activists in Patna Bihar. He tweeted in Hindi : The Lathi charge on BJP activists in Patna amounts to the failure and frustration of the state government. The government of mahagathbandhan is attacking on democracy to save the Fort if corruption. The Bihar CM has forgotten to follow morality to protect the person against whom charge sheet on corruption has been filed tweeted national BJP chief Nadda.
It may be recalled that thousands of BJP activists and Bihar BJP leaders including lawmakers and some MPs were marching from Gandhi Maidan to Assembly secretariat in Patna protesting against the new domicile policy as well as charges of corruption against the deputy CM Tejasvi Yadav demanding his immediate resignation. The Bihar Assembly was in session where several BJP lawmakers were also lifted and ousted grim the house by Marshals. At Dak Bangla Chauraha ( Tri- junction) the riot police and Bihar police without any provocation started charging lathis on the protestors seeking protection running desperately helter and skelter. The police in anger lost no opportunity to inflict lathi blows on the BJP activists not even soaring the women activists. Several leaders of BJP and activists were injured in lathi blows and admitted to hospitals. Vijay Kumar Singh, general secretary of BJP Jahanabad district was one of them who succumbed to the injuries he got from severe Lathi blows in Patna today.
