Reports termed as rumours are also doing the rounds of the Maharashtra CM being changed etc. NCP supremo Sharad Pawar who is in Delhi with some of his MLAs held its central council meeting in Delhi and also met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who assured him his party’s full support. Earlier Mrs Sonia Gandhi, and several other opposition leaders like M. K. Stalin, Mamta Bannerjee, Rahul Gandhi had telephonically contacted Sharad Pawar and assured him of their fullest support. On the other hand the Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde who had two days, ago cut short his Nagpur visit in which president Murmu was the chief guest to meet his MLAs reportedly dissatisfied – has termed the news of the new Maharashtra CM being sworn in as mere rumours and figment of imagination. Sharad Pawar claiming himself to be the real NCP president and his faction to be the original NCP said symbol doesn’t really matter but standing and credibility of a leader.
