RENOWNED DIRECTOR, ACTOR N PRODUCER SATISH KAUSHIK DIES OF CARDIAC ARREST IN DELHI SENDING SHOCK WAVES AROUND

Eminent director, producer and versatile actor known for his outstanding directorial skills and unique acting making everyone laugh having acted in 89 films and directed good number of them, Satish Kaushik has died at the age of 66 in Delhi sending shock waves all around especially in Mumbai film industry.

The popular actor’s dead body has been sent for post mortem at Deen Dayal Hospital, Delhi.

He died of massive cardiac arrest. Several prominent actors of Bollywood have send their condolence messages on their friend’s sudden demise who was planning a new film and was very enthusiastic. On 7 th March he had participated in the Holi Milan celebration at the residence of Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar before leaving for Delhi with the following tweet which was the last tweet of his life.

Prime minister Narendra Modi has expressed his deepest condolences on the sad demise of Satish Kaushik. Prime minister tweeted : Pained by the untimely demise of noted film personality Shri Satish Kaushik just. He was a creative genius who won hearts – thanks to his wonderful acting and direction. His works will continue to entertain audiences. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti – tweeted PM Modi.

One of his closest friends Anupam Kher who couldn’t still believe that Satish Kaushik is no more tweeted : I do know that death is the ultimate truth of this world but I haven’t though even in my dreams knew that I will ever write these words while alive for my dearest friend. Such a sudden full stop in the friendship of 45 years. Life will never be the same without you Satish! OM SHANTI tweeted Anupam Kher.

According to news – Satish Kaushik was last seen by renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar and his wife actor Shabana Azmi on 7 th March in Mumbai from where he boarded the flight for Delhi for Holi celebrations where he breathed his last due to massive cardiac at the age of 66.

Actor Tushar Kapoor in his passionate condolence message wrote : I haven’t been able to come to terms with the terrible news I have woken up this morning. Speechless right now as, I am struggling to wrap myself around the shock and it all continues to seem unbelievable. Words cannot describe what Satish meant to me and my journey in the film industry. It all began with him who was like a father to me. He was an institution in his own right and a huge loss to the film fraternity and the society. My prayers are with his soul and my deepest condolences with his family and friends wrote Tushar Kapoor in his condolence message.

The prominent Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt in his tweet wrote : Rest in peace # Satish Kaushik. You will be deeply missed by so many. Sending love and prayers to your family and loved ones during this, difficult time tweeted Sanjay Dutt.

KANGANA RANAUT, the renowned – though controversial actress in her tweet of condolence wrote : Woke up to this horrible news, he was my biggest cheer leader, a very successful actor and director # Satish Kaushik ji personally was also a very kind and genuine man, I loved directing him in Emergency. He will be missed, I’m Shanti tweeted Kangana.

Renowned director Madhur Bhandarkar in his tweet wrote : I am so shocked to hear the demise of actor director Satish Kaushik little, who was always vibrant, energetic, n full of life, he will be missed immensely by the film fraternity and millions of admirers. My deepest condolences to his family members # OM SHANTI TWEETED Madhur.

According to news Satish Kaushik was such a large hearted person that when renowned actress Neena Gupta was pregnant and Vivian Richard, eminent West Indies cricketer was out of her life , Kaushik offered a hand of support to her giving the name of a father to the newly born child by agreeing to marry her. However, it didn’t materialise. Satish Kaushik is survived by his wife amd ten year old daughter Vanshika. Kaushik suffered a greatest rather tragic setback in 1996 when he list his two year old son. Vanshika was born when Satish Kaushik was 56 years old through a surrogate mother whom he lived the most being his life line.
