Maharashtra governor releases the poster of Uttarakhand’s regional Garhwali film “Bathaoon” (Thunderstorm) at Raj Bhawan
The managing director of Snowny Mountain productions, prominent actress and the producer, heroine of popular Garhwali film SUBHERU GHAM has met the Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari and presented him the first poster of her second venture “Bathaaooon ” The Wind or thunderstorm.
The governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshiyari released the poster today alongwith Urmi Negi and journo Pundhir from Mumbai. The sequel to SUBHERU GHAM, BATHAUN is also the Snowy Mountain production after the super success of the regional film SUBHERU Gham, becoming a block buster in Uttarakhand picture halls especially in the Garhwal region in various cinema theatres of Uttarakhand and in metropolises of Delhi, NCR and Mumbai etc. SUBHERU GHAM apart from being comprised of a fabulous story, cinematography, scenic beauty of Chopta, considered to be the Switzerland of India and other excellent locations of Uttarakhand Himalayas, excellent dialogue delivery, sound and perfect acting by all the actors also carried the message against social evils viz prevalent of illicit liquor spoiling the social structure of Uttarakhand.
The movie was tax free. The shooting of the sequel of super hit SUBHERU Gham titled BATHAAOON in Garhwali, is likely to start from 4 th of April to be shot at the magnificent locations of Guptkashi, Rudraprayag, Pauri Garhwal and Mumbai with Urmi Negi, Balraj Negi, Ghananand alias Ghanna Bhai, who is the Vice chairman, holding a state ministerial rank in Uttarakhand govt and several other actors participating in this movie. The majority of the earlier starcast of Subherugham will be engaged in this movie.
The shooting of BATHAOON got delayed due to the pandemic lockdown. SUBHERU Gham is also credited with having won the regional film award after being exhibited in Canada films festival with English Subtitles. The shooting of Bathaooon will take few months before being released for the enthusiastic film lovers of Uttarakhand in the hilly state as well as in other states of the country in theatres where majority of Uttarakhand’s population lives.
Eminent legendary singer Narendra Singh Negi, Padamashree Pritam Bharthwan and Anuradha Nirala have sung for this movie in their melodious voice with Narendra Singh Negi writing the lyrics.
