Former UKSSSC secretary suspended !

The severe STF and departmental actions against the erring senior officers of UKSSSC relating to the ongoing cheating, leaked papers and recruitment scam is gaining momentum in Uttarakhand with thirty arrests so far and suspension of the former secretary of the Uttarakhand Subordinate services commission Mr. Santosh Badooni. The suspension orders were issued today by the Incharge secretary Mr. Vinod Kumar Raturi. These actions unambiguously give the impression that the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is in no mood to exercise restrain or any laxity keeping in view the tremendous pressure from the central High command as well as the media hype allegedly bringing bad name to the party and the ruling party political dispensation. On Thursday the Uttarakhand chief minister had written a letter to the Uttarakhand assembly speaker with regard to the controversy regarding the appointments in Vidhan Sabha secretariat during the tenures of BJP n Congress with names of former speakers Govind Singh Kunjwal and Prem Agrawal, now cabinet minister in Uttarakhand coming into controversies. According to the official order of suspension of the former Secretary of UK SSSC Santosh Badooni several discrepancies and errors of serious nature were observed in the conduction of exams in the selection commission. Sh. Santosh Badooni was then the secretary of the commission when these irregularities were committed. The order states that during his tenure as secretary during the irregularities he had been negligent, indifferent and unaccountable to his official duties and responsibilities. Though he will remain suspended on this count but will be paid the half salary and other amoluments etc as per the prescribed norms.
