Sounds astonishing say AAP protagonists that while the entire country is celebrating Janmasthami with vigour, vitality n fervour and the name of the Delhi deputy CM n education minister Manish Sisodia has appeared on the front page of prestigious American daily New York Times appreciating him for the outstanding Delhi model of education, the central bureau of investigation, India’s premier investigative agency has raided the residence, car and 31 other locations of his and residences of 11 excise officers of Delhi on the instructions of the Delhi LG Vinay Saxena. As per the latest news during the 12 hour incessant raids several incriminating documents and files pertaining to new excise policy have been unearthed from the residence of the senior excise officers. Meanwhile, the CBI has charge sheeted 15 persons, including senior excise officers with the deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia being number one in the list. This entire action was initiated on the orders of the LG of NCT of Delhi Vinay Saxena on the report of the chief secretary of NCT of Delhi alleging several serious irregularities in the new excise policy of Delhi government. Meanwhile, the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival this morning held a virtual press conference and acquainted the media how the Delhi’s deputy CM’s outstanding education model was lauded by prestigious paper New York Times on its front page story and the CBI is raiding his premises. He said the deputy CM need not to be afraid as the orders are from the top. There had been such vindictive actions in the past against him, Health minister Satyendra Jain, transport minister Gehlot n others but nothing has come out. It is a clear cut vindictive action and all know it, said the Delhi CM and national convenor of AAP Arvind Kejriwal. Praising the work of his deputy Manish Sisodia, Kejriwal said that the prestigious paper of America has published a front page story appreciating the good work being done by us n Manish Sisodia terming Delhi education model as number one in the country where government schools are being upgraded and modernised n quality of education improved to such an extent that students of private public schools are leaving them to seek education in government schools. This is undoubtedly an awesome achievement that New York Times which hardly publishes the news of India president n prime minister and had criticised Indian govt for maximum Covid deaths earlier has published a front page story lauding the Delhi Education model. While we are being lauded for good outstanding work in education n health sector even abroad, the government here is raiding our deputy CM n his residence n other locations. The BJP leader n union minister in his tweet countered Kejrival’s allegation saying that the apprehensions of the Central Bureau of Investigations probe have linked it to the achievements of its government education sector. The corruption in the new excise police has actually exposed the true face of both Arvind Kejrival and Manish Sisodia, tweeted union minister Thakur. On the other hand Congress leader and spokesman Pawan Khera tweeted : The flip side to relentless misuse of agencies against political rivals is that even legitimate, rightful actions of the agencies come under a cloud of suspicious. In the process, the corrupt get away hiding behind the misuse argument and the honest end up paying the price tweeted Pawan Khera.

Kindly recall that the following officers of exice department including deputy CM ( being number 1) have been chargesheeted by the CBI in the alleged irregularities in the new liquor policy case of the Delhi government.
