Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressing the national executive two day meet at their national office in New Delhi
New Delhi, 08 March 2021: The two-day National Executive meeting of the Indian Youth Congress began today. The meeting was organized at Indian Youth Congress National Office 5, Raisina Road, New Delhi. The meeting was chaired by the National President of the Indian Youth Congress, Sh. Srinivas B. V. And National In-charge of the Indian Youth Congress and AICC Jt. Secretary Sh. Krishna Allavaru , was also present on the occasion.
Congress Party Senior leader Rahul Gandhi was the Chief Guest at the National Executive meeting of the Indian Youth Congress. Rahul Gandhi paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi ji and inaugurated the opening ceremony by lighting the lamp.
While addressing all the national officials of the Youth Congress and the state presidents of the Youth Congress, Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress party workers are the real power of the Congress, congratulating all the officials and workers of the Youth Congress for their hard work n dedicated effirts and at the same time also thanked them for carrying forward the Congress Party ideology across the country. Rahul Gandhi also said that Mahatma Gandhi used to say that politics means trust, and today the country needs that trust and belief. He also said that it is the duty of all of us to raise the voice of every section of the weak and exploited classes of the country and the Youth Congress will have to fight on the streets against this anti-people, ‘Hum Do, Humare Do Wali Sarkar’.
Today, on the occasion of Women’s Day, women working in the social sector were honored by Sh. Rahul Gandhi by presenting them mementoes.
The National President of the Indian Youth Congress, Srinivas BV said that following the path shown by Sh. Rahul Gandhi , every worker of the Youth Congress will fight against the present dictatorial government in the coming days and for disseminating the ideology of the Congress Party including their leader Rahul Gandhi’s pro people ideology across the country. Rising inflation, unemployment, three black agricultural laws and other serious issues will be discussed in the coming sessions and the Youth Congress will work on all these issues across the country said BV Srinivas.
Shri Krishna Allavaru, National In-charge and AICC Jt-Secretary of the Indian Youth Congress was also present on the occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Deependra Hooda too addressed the youth Congress delegates on the issue of three black agricultural laws. The Youth Congress also organised a session on the occasion of Women’s Day titled ‘Aadhi Aabadi Pura Hak’, on which Sh. Sachin Rao, In-charge, AICC Training Department addressed everyone in the meeting. All the national office bearers of the Youth Congress and all the state presidents were present in the meeting.
Meanwhile the Congress president while appealing to the the Youth Congress national executive committee members to fight the RSS tooth and nail tweeted in Hindi: Discussed with the colleagues of Indian youth Congress on national issues. We’ll have to non violently struggle against the RSS mentality so that India’s diversity and cultural identity is not adversely affected tweeted Rahul Gandhi.
