A major fire broke out in a commercial building near Metro station at Mundka today afternoon in which 27 people are reported to have succumbed due to severe burns and twelve seriously injured admitted in Sanjay Gandhi Hospital at Sultanpuri. The fire rescue department got the call at around four PM and immediately ten fire tenders were pressed into service totalling twenty four till the fire was extinguished reveal sources. The owners of the factory which didn’t had the NOC two Goel brothers have been arrested as reported by the Deputy Commissioner of Police. According to the tweet from PMO while prime minister Narendra Modi has expressed his deepest condolences on the sad demise of 27 persons, the financial compensation of Rs two lakh to each of the dead and Rs 50000 to the injured has been announced.
