Tributes paid to towering leader H. N. Bahuguna on his birth anniversary by CM Dhami n Harish Rawat including other ministers

The chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami today paid his respectful tributes to a towering stalwart of Indian politics, former Uttar Pradesh CM and former union minister of Communications, Petroleum and Natural Gas and Finance under the tenures of then PMs Indira Gandhi, Morarji Desai and Choudhary Charan Singh.

The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami along with former Uttarakhand CM Vijay Bahuguna, ministers Subodh Uniyal, ( Bahuguna’s political product) Ganesh Joshi and Saurabh Bahuguna also garlended the great leader’s statue at Ghanta Ghar, Dehradun hailing Bahuguna, raising Long Live H N Bahuguna slogans thus pledging to follow his ideals and principles he stood for during his entire life. Paying his heartfelt tributes to late H. N. Bahuguna on his birth anniversary 103rd Birth Anniversary Uttarakhand chief minister praised him saying that he was a towering political leader, UP CM, and several times union minister and a best orator. In a tweet the CM, Uttarakhand while paying his richest tributes to late leader H. N. Bahuguna wrote : Paid tributes to H. N. Bahugunaji on his Jayanti at CM’s residence and there after garlanded the statue of Bahugunaji at Ghantaghar Dehradun. He was a best orator, an able administrator and a towering leader tweeted CM Dhami further adding that Bahugunaji made a special place in Indian politics due to his outstanding intellectual capabilities. He said Vijay Bahuguna, Subodh Uniyal, Ganesh Joshi, Saurabh Bahuguna, all ministers and Mayor of Dehradun Sunil Uniyal ” Gama” Also paid their respectful tributes with me.

In another tweet former CM and veteran Congress leader Harish Rawat also paid tributes to H. N. Bahuguna. He tweeted : Today is the birthday of Uttarakhand’s SAPUT ( son) lTe Shri Hemwati Nandan. I paid my richest tributes to the towering leader on this pious ocassion tweeted Harish Rawat.

The president of Uttarakhand Journalists Forum Sunil Negi also paid tributes to this great leader with who he too was associated for more than a decade in close proximity.
