Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival’s house attacked, barricades and CCTV cameras ransacked. Manish Sisodia’s serious charge of an alleged assassination attempt on Delhi CM
The Aam Admi Party and the deputy CM, Delhi Manish Sisodia has accused Bhartiya Janata Party of allegedly attempting to assassinate the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal after being frustrated due to the saffron party’s defeat in Punjab elections securing just two seats.
Speaking to media and later on n tweeting as well, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia wrote in Hindi : The BJP goons continued vandalising the house of Delhi chief minister @Arvind Kejriwal. The police of BJP instead of stopping, escorted them to the main gate of his house, breaking the security barriers n CCTV cameras. They also ransacked n damaged the boom barriers.
It may be recalled that about 150 to 200 angered BJYM activists led by Tejasvi Surya, president who were protesting at some distance from the chief minister’s house broke three barriers raising anti AAP and Kejriwal slogans and finally reached the main gate with police allegedly becoming mute spectators finally breaking the boom barriers and the CCTV cameras including painting the gate of CM Arvind Kejrival’s Bungalow with saffron and red colour, symbolising the blood stains etc. They were also carrying with them paint and a brush.
The enraged BJYM activists were protesting against the statement of Arvind Kejriwal pertaining to Kashmiri Pundits and the movie Kashmir Files on the plight and atrocities perpetrated on them during the nineties when they were forcibly and traumatically evicted from Kashmir valley with several of them brutally killed. The CM spoke against the BJP at length in his speech in the assembly refusing to make Kashmir Files tax free, saying that why fon’t the producer n director of the movie load it in You tube?
In a tweet the AAM ADMI PARTY after tagging the picture of BJP Yuva Morcha activists painting the Delhi CM’s gate wrote : After becoming frustrated, being defeated in Punjab, the BJP in collaboration with Delhi Police attacked CM. The BJP is so frustrated that it is allegedly conspiring to assassinate Arvind Kejrival. The BJP is apprehensive that only Kejrival can counter prime minister Modi. Therefore they want to endanger his life tweeted AAP.
According to Delhi Police around 150 to 200 demonstrators of Bhartiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha reached near the residence of Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival and started raising slogans and forcibly entering the main gate after breaking the boom barriers and CCTV cameras, also clashing with the police. They started banging n pushing the main gate of the CM’s house and finally painting the door with saffron n red color symbolising blood stains. The police tried to stop them but of no avail. The police claims to have arrested seventy BJYM activists and assured that legal proceedings will be initiated against them.
The protestors were demanding making the movie Tax Free and accused AAP n CM Kejrival of playing with the sentiments of Kashmiri Pandits and insulting them in his speech inside Delhi Assembly few days ago.
Meanwhile the Punjab CM Bhagwant Maan and AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh too have condemned this incident.
In a brief post in Woo App he wrote : BJP’s frustration over the crushing defeat in Punjab at the hands of AAP is clear now. The attack on the house of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival in the presence of police is a very cowardly act. It is now clear that the BJP fears only AAP and Arvind Kejrival: Bhagwant Maan, Punjab CM.
The Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh tweeted : The BJP goons attacked the house of Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival and the Delhi Police instead of obstructing them seems to stand by them. BJP please remember, we will avenge it. This is democracy, let the time come, the people will thrash you with the stick of mandate tweeted Sanjay Singh.
