All Parties busy announcing freebies in UP. Campaigning on peak

While the election date is nearing the tours of top political leaders of various political parties, especially the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party has enhanced in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand too with various freebies being announced on the lines of Congress, Samajwadi party as well as Aam Admi Party.

While the Union home minister Rajnath Singh is in Gangolighat, Kumaun region today with Uttarakhand chief minister praising Pushkar Singh Dhami as a soft as well as the firy leader of BJP appealing Uttarakhandies to vote for BJP en masse, the Union home minister Amit Shah, Union ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Anurag Thakur were in Gomti Nagar along with firebrand Uttarakhand chief minister Yogi Adityanath and the deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya releasing the saffron party menifesto giving assurances of lot of concessions and freebies like laptops, mobile phones, free scooties, interest free loans to the tune of Rs 1lakh to over one crore women, free electricity for irrigation, payment of remuneration of the balance ammount within 15 days to sugar cane farmers, one lakh rupees worth of financial help to the daughters of the poor, free pension of Rs 1500 to widow, old aged persons and hapless women every month, free two gas cylinders to women under Ujjwala scheme in Deepawali and Holi and financial help under Kanya Sumangla Scheme enhanced from Rs 1500 to 25000 etc.

These major concessions n freebies have been included in the BJP menifesto released today in Gomti Nagar by the Union ministers Amit Shah, Anurag Thakur n observer Dharmendra Pradhan in the presence of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Maurya, Uttar Pradesh BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh and chief of the Sankalp Patra committee Naresh Khanna.

Lauding his government and its various achievements, the Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has said that Uttar Pradesh has become riots free due the best governance and five lakh youths were given employment during his rule with the farmers loans worth Rs 36 thousand crores waived off benefitting about 86 lakh peasants of the state.

Blaming the previous government of Samajwadi party for creating and failing to control riots in UP, CM Yogi Aditiya Nath said that before 2017 in UP about seven hundred riots had taken place. He added that the sugar cane farmers were disbursed the balance amount of Rs. 1.59 crores during his rule.

Meanwhile, the Congress leader and general secretary Priyanka Gandhi along with Sachin Pilot participated in a massively attended Jansampark Yatra, Road show at Hastinapur UP waving towards thousands of people present in the Yatra raising slogans hailing her and Congress party. She also performed Yamuna Pooja at Vishram Ghat Mathura amid chanting of mantras thereafter.

On the other hand the Chief Minister of Bengal Mamata Banerjee campaigned in favour of Samajwadi party with Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow predicting that Samajwadi party is sure to win by three hundred seats.

She raised the slogan “Khela Hobe”, as in Bengal earlier saying that she would campaign in the constituency of prime minister Narendra Modi viz Banaras.

Addressing the largely attended rally Bengal chief minister Mamta Banerjee said that the SP will form the government securing three hundred seats assuring the electorates that the government of SP will give direct cash benefits to women n students.

It may be recalled that just before the release of the saffron party menifesto in Gomti Nagar Lucknow, the Samajwadi Party announced several concessions for the people of UP releasing its menifesto obeying the suggestions n advise of Bengal CM hiking  financial aid for women under a chief minister’s programme from the existing Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000, including financial assistance up to Rs One lakh for marriage of girls from the economically weaker sections, two LPG cylinders free twice a year under the Ujjwala scheme (a Central government programme), free public transport for women above the age of 60, hike in widow stipend etc.

The BJP has also promised to install closed-circuit television cameras in all public places and education institutes and 3,000 police booths exclusive to women apart from above schemes n freebies.

The Congress party and its general secretary Priyanka Gandhi had already announced several concessions like free scooties for college girls, laptops, free three cylinder, increase of Asha workers monthly salaries, etc.
