Two culprits of shooting from running cars in Dehradun arrested after being injured in an encounter

The Dehradun police under the stewardship of the upright officer SSP Pramendra Dobal is leaving no stone unturned to bring the culprits of late Brigadier Mukesh Kumar Joshi to justice.

Several police teams are behind the absconding criminals and two of them have been injured in an encounter with the police after they fired on them during the search operation.
So far seven culprits have been arrested in all.
The proactive Dehradun police had arrested four culprits with the damaged Fortuner car on the next day of the crime when the Brigadier Mukesh Joshi fell to the stray bullets of the exchange of fire from the speedily running cars early morning at Rajpur Dehradun on March 30.
First, four and then three accused were arrested.
Police, acting swiftly, had already arrested four accused: Rihant Kumar, Mohammad Akhlaq alias Sabir, Sandeep Kumar, and Adi Chaudhary, and sent them to jail. Two country-made pistols and four live cartridges were recovered from them. Subsequently, police arrested three more accused: Adesh Ingri (50), a resident of Shivpuri Gadiputa, Shamli (UP), Sameer Chaudhary (21), a resident of Gadar Jujhu, Mangalore (Hirdar), and Mohit Arora (28), a resident of Uttam Nagar, New Delhi. And now during the extensive search operation two culprits involved in this shootout were injured in an encounter by the Dehradun police after they opened fire on the police.
According to the latest news under the jurisdiction of Rajpur police station area of Haridwar, two criminals had an encounter with the police who were searching for the accused of retired Brigadier Mukesh Joshi murder case vigorously.
During the intensive checking in Johri village, the police got the confirmed clue about the wanted criminals, after which the police team started chasing them. While chasing the culprits, the police team reached the jungle of Guniyal village, where one accused Mohammad Kavish Hussain Tyagi was caught on the spot whereas, the other accused Shantu Tyagi started firing to escape from the police.
The police retaliated the during and both the culprits were injured and admitted to hospital under police custody. The arrested injured two accused are Mohammad Kavish Hussain Yagi, son of Tosim, a resident of Amba Bihar, Police Station Khalapar, Muzaffarnagar (age 22)-Shantanu Yagi, son of Vinay Yagi, a resident of Madhaki, Police Station Behat, Saharanpur (age 21). Now only one culprit is absconding and in all, nine culprits have been arrested.
The SSP Dehradun Pramendra Dobal visited the encounter spot and investigated the scene from where a pistol was also found from the possession of the injured culprits.
After this shootout the chief minister had convened a high level meeting with the senior police officers and issued instructions that no leniency would be tolerated in dealing with the criminals in Uttarakhand with a heavy hand to bring the law and order situation under control.
